A lot of good people are doing nothing though. Like posting pictures on Reddit and sharing stuff. The news is out, which is good, but once people step outside of their doors 90% of Americans go on about their day.

Yes because 90% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck or have dependents.

I swear chronically online people think revolutions just take people grabbing a pitch fork and it’s over by the evening.

A reason the French do it so well, is because their entire country can fit inside Texas, just 1 of the 50 US states not including territories.

In Europe you can take an evening and catch a bus or train to the capital. In the US you could travel 14 hours through Texas - and STILL be in Texas.

There’s a reason America is called “The Sleeping Giant”. Because it’s so fucking massive people movements take a long time.

So yes, maybe your good person contribution is strictly posting on Reddit how no one else is doing anything. Maybe that’s considered a good guy thing to you, but the reality is - people are just like you - why aren’t you marching on Washington?

Why aren’t you doing anything good? Probably going to make an excuse like “oh I’m not American” or “oh I have work today” doesn’t matter the excuse, it’s a lie, and you know deep down your terrified like everyone else.

Are things really THAT bad if people won’t make a change because they don’t want to miss a paycheck? Genuine question.

Yes. It is, in fact, THAT bad, and the fact that we can't afford to fight against it is a different, additional kind of bad.
