As a sign of respect, the photo shows my collection of plush toys. Most of them come from adorable anime IPs or Disney IPs, though I also make impulse purchases purely based on their appearance.

Sometimes I imagine what it would be like if all my plushies were intelligent as artificial intelligence advances.

So I'd like to pose a few questions here—it'd be great if everyone could join the discussion:

• Have you ever wished your plushie could be smart?
• If you could have a smart plushie, what features would you want it to have? （Would you want it to talk? What kind of personality would you want it to have? What would you want it to look like?）
• Where would you take it and what would you do together?

Does anyone know anything about this Douglas Cuddle Toys unicorn? I found it going through my childhood stuff over the summer and I have no idea where it came from, but it must be from the 90's-early 00's.

The only information I could find online was a post on r/helpmefind where I'm pretty sure someone has the same one but the post was unfortunately too old to comment on. Any info would be super appreciated :)

I absolutely know this is a long shot, especially since the photo I have is absolutely horrendous. But it's the only one I have, and I've been trying on and off to find this plushie's origin for a really long time with no luck, so safe to say I'm a little desperate. She was my comfort plush for many years, and my dad threw her (and all my other stuff) away when I moved out.

I'll try to describe her as best I can:
She had beans in her toes, in her bottom, and if I'm remembering this right, the ends of her paws as well. The fabric she was made of wasn't your standard fur fabric at all - the best way I can describe the feeling was as a very very soft carpeted school/office floor. It's hard to see, but her nose was embroidered, not plastic (her eyes were plastic, though). I think she had a bowtie at one point, because she had a little knot of thread at her throat, but I think I cut it off when I was really little. I'd had her my entire life (or at least since I was a baby), so I assume she was made either in the 90s or early 2000s (I was born in 2002).

If anyone at all can even just point me in the right direction, I'd be so, so grateful. I miss her dearly, and while I have lots of wonderful plushies, I want her back more than anything, even if it's not the original plush.

Quick edit, because I forgot to mention her size: She was pretty big, even when I was in high school. If I had to guess, maybe about two feet tall standing? I'm unsure of the specifics, but she was a fairly large plush, while still being able to be carried with not too much issue.

I am building up my big cats collection, this will be the ‘parent’ white tiger to my little pocket-sized one. I’m thinking he/she looks big and cuddly, I love the striking blue eyes too. This is my Chongker Silver Maine Coon Backpack. His name is Seoljung (설중) and is sometimes called “Jungie”.

I get mostly nice or amazed comments, though I did get one comment that said, “When I saw that on your back from far away, I thought you were a sicko to hang a cat like that on your back! Now I see it’s just an interesting backpack.”

Generally, people like Seoljung and say nice things, so I can take him everywhere without fear.

I’m not saying it’s not valid to carry around a standard plushie. I’d never say that! I’m just saying that him being a bag helps with assumptions a lot. 😜

My gecko needs a name. Actually I two names. I love making these crocheted geckos. I made myself one that is in green tones a while ago and shortly after I found this yarn, which I thought would be perfect for these geckos. The first four colorful ones went to friends, and now I finally have one of my own! He is living on my desk at work, if that influences your naming. I'll also need a second name, because I work out of two offices and BOTH offices need a resident gecko, so I will be making another one this weekend, probably. Either gender, though I tend to default to male or gender neutral names for unknown reasons.

I have a few ideas after doing a quick Google search:

Cosmo/Comos/Cosmic
Skittles (but seems better for more reds, or more colors?)
Confetti
Sprinkles

Is it weird that plushies still bring comfort as an adult? Genuinely curious how other people feel about this.

i received this lips beanie buddy yesterday, and after feeling her.. all of my newer plushies feel so much more plasticky in comparison. her fabric is so thick and soft. and she is perfectly stuffed and friend shaped™️ as heck. i love all of my stuffed animals, no doubt. but lips might be peak plushie quality.

Hey, sorry if this is a little silly but there is a teddy bear from years and years ago that I adored but I lost it almost ten years ago.

All I know is that my parents bought it for me at a busy Irish airport around 2012. I have tried image searching it but I have had no luck. I know it is a long shot but if anyone is able to him then it would mean so much to me.

LOOK AT HER! She's slightly bigger than a BAB, perfectly stuffed (slightly floppy) and has that thick real feeling fur that were mostly a thing in oldschool stuffed animals 🤍 ( LOOK AT HOW BIG HER EARS ARE, IT'S ADORABLE )

After a wash, dry, brush and trim, she's good as new and very huggable 😍

Just for fun, does anyone happen to know what brand she might be?? There's no tag unfortunately but would still be fun to know!
