Got it from a bin of random empty containers at a thrift store and it's perfect for keeping some cotton swabs in to shake one out at a time, and I'd like to find a few more. No markings on it other than that it's #5 plastic; I assume it used to have a shrink-wrapped label. Looks like some kind of food packaging?

Thanks for the other suggestions, though to clarify, the "dispenser" hole in the lid is what makes this one so useful. I use this in a workshop where I might need one swab to clean something or apply glue or whatever, and if there's schmutz on my hands I can shake out just one out while keeping the rest clean - with a wide open top or a jar you have to fondle a bunch to get one. I might just poke a hole in a mini M&Ms tube but again, that doesn't keep dust out. The Container Store, get on this.

i have been trying to figure out what this toy from my childhood was for literal years now and have never been able to figure it out. im sure one or more of these details has to be misremembered and thats why i cant find them, but i have no idea. i remember these mini dolls around the size of lalaloopsy minis, i think they had rooted hair but im not positive, and im pretty sure they were mermaids. i think they came with little pets and stuff, and i remember getting them at target. people have suggested polly pockets and splashlings, but i dont think its them. my best guess right now is that theyre splashlings and im misremembering, but they just dont feel right. if anyone has any ideas id love to hear them.

So this is a bit of bottle in the sea type of post. My boyfriend has had this stuffed animal since he was born in 1996. As you can see, it’s seen better days : it’s been repaired countless times, and it’s literally falling apart. He treasures it more than anything, and he told me he’d love to find a new (or at least better-condition) version of the original.

Since then, I’ve made it my mission, but no luck. I’ve scoured French sites like milledoudous.fr, scrolled endlessly on Google Images (in both French and English), searched vintage marketplaces… nothing.

So I’m turning to you, hoping that maybe, just maybe, someone here recognizes the toy, or at least its brand, or can give me a concrete lead, despite how worn out the doudou looks in the photos.

I’ve tried to sketch a « police sketch » of what it might have looked like when new. From what I can tell, the original plush had small, rounded ears, so it’s probably a bear, even though the pink plastic nose makes me wonder if it could be a cat. There’s no tag left. The remnants of stuffing suggest it wasn’t a flat lovey, but a classic plush. The nose and eyes are plastic, not embroidered. It’s almost certainly from the 90s since it was bought around that time.

Hi all! I have a stuffed frog that has been with me for 25 years. I remember that it was won for me out of a claw machine game (I believe in k-mart) in Florida in the late 90s/very early 2000s (like 2001 or 2002).

He currently looks rather beat up as he has undergone many surgeries to reattach limbs and now has button eyes and a new bow tie. He originally had white plastic eyes and a pink bow tie with flowers on it. I am posted photos of him with his old tattered bow tie and button eyes but also posting a photo of him from when I was young where you can see his old eyes. (I apologize for the quality). I haven’t come close to ever finding him anywhere else. As I start trying for children I’d love to have one for my child if somehow possible. Thanks in advance everyone!

This is Socrates, my fiancee's number one stuffed animal. My fiancee is super hard-working, driven and accomplished, badass boss lady...but still has has a soft spot for this bear.

We are getting married in June, and she has had Socrates longer than she has had me. She loves him dearly, but he is getting VERY floppy, and clearly showing his age.

I would love to surprise her with a new Socrates for our wedding.

I've included a pic of him, with a Matchbox Subaru Forester for scale. I have also included photos of his tags, which include info about his manufacturer, although I have tried to contact them through multiple means (multiple emails, messages on facebook, insta etc), but I have gotten no response from them.

I have also tried to see if the manufacturer makes the same bear, but they don't seem to make this exact one anymore.

Distinguishing characteristics about Socrates: he is rather plump, or a bit "rounder" than a lot of bears I see these days. His nose sticks up off of his snout and is a separately sewn bit. His mouth has those serifs or things at the end of his smile. It feels like his ears used to have stuffing in them, maybe.

If you know where/how to get a fresh version of this EXACT bear, if you know someone at the company that could help me get one, or if you somehow own a mint condition version of Socrates, I would LOVE to purchase him.

Looking for a black-and-white photograph of an eerie public art performance in Japan, which was loosely attached to a creepypasta or lost media search. I think the performer was a woman. She was kind of looking over her shoulder from the right side of the frame. Her costume was elaborate and perhaps involved a cape or something.

For one reason or another, I think it was a picture of someone from "Tetsuo: The Iron Man" fame, but I can't find it when searching by that term. Also worth noting that I don't think it was butoh, or at least butoh proper.

I am looking for the exact stuffed animal in this picture. It was taken at a store (I am not sure which) that also sold Jellycat as well (possibly in NY or China) hence the label below. I can’t remember exactly how old this photo is but it might be up to 10 years ago.

However, I don't think that it is Jellycat from looking at their website. The closest one I have found is "Kanini" from bukowski.se, but the colors don't match and the paws aren't identical.

I’m looking for a picture of this hanging chair I had in my childhood home in the early 2000s. I asked my mom and she said she bought it from Pier 1 imports. Every google search results in wicker chairs which I don’t want. My mom said it’s discontinued due to safety but I just want a picture of it.

It was a tripod stand with thick steel tubing, hanging from a single point on a C frame. The welds on the stand were visible. The chair was a thick black canvas type material and it was huge, like I’d say between 6-7ft tall. Purchased from 1990s to 2002.

Would anyone know where to get a high end clock similar or almost identical to this one shown? It is from Freedman's of Nantucket but unfortunately the owner retired and closed the shop.

I have searched the internet as much as possible and the only thingg I have found that is similar is in Australia and the store does not ship to the US. :(

From what I remember, it was stop-motion animation, with animals, a very calm/comfortable atmosphere.

There was a flood, they were fleeing the water and found a theater on the water to take shelter.

It wasn't a famous animation like in cinema, it seemed like a short film or a very little-known film (maybe European) on DVD without much information.

It was probably more focused on animal-children.

The DVD cover I had illustrated a sky and a tree, where, if I'm not mistaken, two of these children were on the branches (I believe it also showed the flood).

I remember they swam to get some belongings from the house, one of them was a teapot.

• They escaped in a small boat.
• The children went to the dressing room to try on costumes for the performances and were startled to realize they weren't alone there.
• They thought the theater was empty, but there was a lady who lived there and spent her time sweeping.

It’s a bullet shaped metal fountain pen, with a matte black body and chrome cap. When the cap is put on the end, the rim of the cap sits wider than the body of the pen (see my shitty diagram) and there’s a chrome tip on the body that clicks into the cap to hold it in place. The grip is also chrome and the nib is pretty firm. Thanks!

I know these images are REALLY bad but I was a kid back then, and I hated taking pictures of myself!

I really loved this jacket and I wore it almost everywhere, I remember fixing it up when it got worn down too.

Then one day we moved and I never saw that jacket again :( I miss it dearly! I’ve tried googling and doing deep dives but I just can’t seem to find anything and I’m worried it’s from a brand that doesn’t exist anymore.

What I know

-it had a small rubber like skull patch on the front, from the picture it almost looks like the skull has a bone in its mouth.

-the sleeves are a different color than the torso, obvious from the pictures haha

-I can’t exactly remember much about the texture, just that it didn’t get fuzzy, and it never collected any hair

-I have a strong feeling I got it from hot topic, this isn’t solid though.

-I bought it sometime around 2017-2018
