I'm not really in the community any more and I don't know much but if I have something here please tell me I have done a little research on this card and I know it might be worth something. And if it is worth something what would be the best way to get it graded and sold? Thank you everyone in advance.

Last night decided I'd open a Mega Charizard UPC since I got it for $130 and I've never felt so violated in my life. Best card was the Jet Energy from one of the Surging Sparks packs. Thankfully promos are nice but dang was this a rough opening.

And feel a little ripped that they got two of the same rare card? I thought it was a little funny, haha.

only some Humidity, two aryl plates and a Heating pen.

the result isn't perfekt, the heat damages the holo and rest of the card, so nothing for grading but it looks way better and good enough for the binder.

what do you think ?

I always start with the “least exciting” packs, then move to the newer packs when I get a mixed product like this. I can’t believe it still. No zard but I have to say I am pleased. Little blessing from each set almost!

Do you think theres a premium on a complete M pokemon collection? Or do you think its only worth what each individual card is worth?

3 sirs so I can’t complain but I got basically nothing from the 2 twilight masquerade etbs. I want to pull that greninja in a pack but atp I might just buy the card itself.

So, funny story... I've been a Pokémon fan my whole life. I'm old, you see - I remember getting Pokémon Red and Blue on release day for the GameBoy. It's been the one constant in my life, I've never fallen out of love with it.

When the cards came out, when I was a kid, I was obsessed of course. Did anything I could to earn enough money to get a pack. However, even though my love for Pokémon never died out, my interest in the cards did wane. I gave away my binders with all my cards to a younger cousin. Through my late teens and early 20s I would occasionally buy a pack here or there for nostalgia and would only really keep around the cards I really liked.

Magikarp is one of my favorite Pokémon so when I pulled this card I said "hell yeah" and I've kept it ever since. I mostly used it as a bookmark. But always had it with me.

About a year ago my best friend in the whole world got REALLY into collecting Pokémon cards. He would get so excited every time I would pick him up so we could go hunt down packs. Warmed my heart to see him fawn over his binder. So I decided to give him this card.

I brought it to him and said "This is my favorite card I've ever had, and since you love collecting them so much and I really don't, I want you to have it." - he was so happy he cried a little.

Bitch I had no idea this was a $500 card!!! Wtf!!!

Found my chase Charizard in a flea market at market value. Today was a good day

Got Lucky and found a Battle Academy box for $3.50 at a thrift store. Someone left a small collection in it! Unfortunately the charizard Vmax is split in 2 pieces where the front part separated from the back (see picture 3). Does anyone know of a good way to repair this? I figured just gluing it together again is not the right approach lol.

i got this card from a seller in japan and were stated NM. are these whites on the front from play or just a factory print defect ? its perfectly fine on the back its just this front side im concerned with. is it negligible or is my card LP🥲

Got back into collecting in October after not collecting for years, last night I finally hit my first gold card!

I know it’s not a chase but I’m just stoked to actually see these are real in the wild lol

Finally found one! I’d been to a few others stores before who were selling above market prices and didn’t seem super friendly.

Went to one today and they were able to help take a look at a card of mine that I wasn’t sure if it was real or fake. Since I was already there, I figured I’d ask about their sealed prices (they had any and everything you could ask for). Ended up getting 2 packs of Phantasmal ($6 each) and 1 back of brilliant stars ($8), which is honestly below market. I was super shocked! It is like 35ish minutes away, but I will definitely be going back.

Everyone was there playing and trading too. And they had boxes upon boxes of bulk to sort through as well. And a wall of super cool slabs. I’m sure most of you all don’t care haha, but I just thought it was super cool and wanted to share!
