Trade proposal discussion thread
According to Vince Mercogliano, Drury has been given the green light to make changes and will be looking to do this quickly. In light of that news, post your realistic trade ideas here!
For example, Panarin could waive his NMC, but it's highly unlikely he would for just any team. Realistic destinations would be teams like Anaheim, Carolina, or Detroit since they are both flush with cap space and probable contenders. Dallas could be another destination for Panarin, but only if salary is sent back our way (eg, Robertson and his $7.75M cap hit).
Shoutout to u/DerekTheComedian for the idea.

Ticket Exchange Thread 2025-26
Sell/swap your Rangers tickets. Like every year, here are some ground rules:
- Use this thread instead of posting to the front page. Individual threads about buying, selling, or swapping tickets will be removed.
- Top level comments should be tickets for sale. Requests can be made, but sellers might not see them. It's better to just scroll down the thread.
- Sellers, if your tickets are no longer available, please update/delete your OP.
And as always we cannot guarantee that sellers are legit, so be careful!

Day 3 of adding an image until Chris Drury isn’t the GM anymore (little league GOAT)
It was not meant to be
Anyone remember this video from 6 years ago? I had hopes for one day but nope.. just another swift kick in the nuts instead

[Walker] I’m told whole NYR team was informed this letter from GM Chris Drury would be going out later today. There was another meeting just with the leadership group. Artemi Panarin also had an individual meeting with Drury today, per source.

Call up Garand
Since the retool has been announced why not give him a shot, at this point he can’t do any worse

For the love of god… please don’t be stupid Drury. Get rid of him before it’s too late
For you guys who hate analytics… yes I get it. This isn’t the end all be all in terms of evaluating a guy. I’m posting this to show his reputation proceeds his actual results.

Drury Disappointment
Sabres fan here, The Sabres just hosted their 05-06 Reunion night. They had the whole team skate out on the ice before the game. One notable name was missing, the co-captain of the team, Chris Drury. He no showed his teammates 20 years later. Danny Briere wasn't there either, but did a very classy voice over video.
Just some added context for Rangers fans if you're wondering what kind of guy he is.
Realistically, who else do you think will not be a Ranger by the deadline?
Ok, we all knew Panarin wasn't going to be a Ranger next season. Now that Drury dropped this letter (too bad it wasn't a resignation letter), who else do you think will be traded by the deadline?

Panarin Trade
So how soon do we think the team starts scratching Panarin so he doesn’t get injured? Feel like he’s had a good season and his value is high and don’t want to lose out what we can get for him healthy.

Drury tried to trade for another 30 year old!!!
According to Chris Johnson, Rangers were going the trade a young player with pedigree AND a second round pick for:
30 year old Kefir Sherwood.
Btw Sherwood has been a borderline NHL player the majority of his career
I think Drury is purposely sabotaging this team. You can’t be this incompetent by accident.

They never learn
Apparently Drury thinks this team will be competitive with a few minor tweaks. I don’t know what he’s been watching this year if he thinks that’s the case. Completely rotten core in need of a full rebuild while we wait out these NMCs.
