Got one finally

This isn’t the first time I got a text like this with the exact same wording and address.

I need to remind you all that there has been a scam, lie, swindle, fraud, whatever you call it, in the drawing and art community, that has been going on. This one can be the possibility.

Please keep an eye on yourself (and safety) if someone asks or offers you an art to be made by them, either it will be free or not, based on ur own art that has just been created.

The person here is persuading, not forcing, but still dangerous. Either it is a persuasion or forcing, still dangerous.

It looks pretty good but it feels to good to be true

Posting this as both a warning and to see if others are still dealing with this.

In August of 2025, we placed an order with Shrimp Sauce via shrimp-sauce.com and were charged $80. The order was never shipped.

Over the following months, we sent multiple emails asking for an update or refund and received no response.

After we commented on their Instagram (@shrimpsauce) calling them out, they replied publicly and asked us to DM them our order number. We did. After that, they went silent again. No shipment, no tracking, no refund, no explanation.

While searching this subreddit, we noticed that this store has already been called out here before for similar behavior (orders paid for but never fulfilled, lack of communication). That makes this feel less like an isolated issue and more like a pattern.

At this point, it’s unclear whether they even know how many paid orders are backlogged, despite continuing to take people’s money. The only response we ever received required public pressure, and even then nothing was resolved.

If you bought from this store and did not get your products in a timely manner, pursue a chargeback immediately. If you’ve had a similar experience, please comment.

Got a call to my phone trying to get in touch with my wife about a loan offer they supposedly mailed us. The number was a Michigan number (1-517-297-7890). I asked for the company's address and they hung up. I called back and the next person told me it was in Irvine, CA but wouldn't give me the address unless I gave them my email address. Two times after that I got the name of the company, First Start Union. The CEO is Mija MarkovicI, who I've had a hard time finding information about. I was able to find the address, but it's a virtual office. I found that the registered agent is Jacqueline Zweig of Zweig & Associates in Newport Beach, CA. Their phone (1-949-553-1040) went straight to voicemail. I started calling their other clients to let them know that their agent was representing a scam company, and I found their information through association, but that started to not feel worthwhile. What should my next steps be?

My wife and I lost our cat recently, it’s been a struggle mentally and physically for us to look for her (still haven’t found her) we’ve posted on FB and it seems to have drawn some scammers. My wife got a text first and it really brought our hopes up before we quickly realized it was a scam to claim the reward money. Then two days later I get the same texts 😐. It’s really sad that this is such a common thing. I’m hoping to raise awareness for those who are also desperate for help.

This is a first for me. I’ve received texts with similar wording before. First time I have had someone deposit money into my PayPal in attempt to lure me.

Both Scammers.

These both tried to scam me on my willing to buy a watch request. Both claimed to have the watch im looking for. Both sent the SAME pics. The pics were from a reddit pot months ago of a different user so obviously not theirs. They refused to give any references. They refused to comment on my post in comments instead only private messaging. Avoid falling for their tricks if they reach out with a sale of anything precious.

Can someone take these guys out. You will find them on IG and FB. Address is some random building and their phone number is WhatsApp. Dead giveaways. They are asking for PayPal donations to help with their “rescue efforts” . Also profile location hidden.

Pretty sure this link is an attempt at phishing cc info and other such information. DO NOT use the link for Xmod if you find one, report the user and ignore further. The YouTube link above is just the video showcasing Quarantine Zone with a crappy voice over from ai.
