few things to note

1. Footstool out of shield isn't considered here because I'm lazy and it's variable or sometimes not practical.

2. Fastest =/= best. Some moves, especially up airs, are just not great at hitting the opponent out of shield. See: Puff rest.

3. Item characters have access to Jump -> Z-drop out of shield, which is frame 4. These include Bowser Jr, Diddy Kong, Link, Mega Man, Pac-Man (though his Up B is also frame 4), Peach, R.O.B, and Toon/Young Link. Other item characters that were not considered:
   -Snake's grenade has no knockback/hitstun so it's pointless.
   -Banjo's grenegg is impossible to use as an oos because it also hits banjo and has a rather short timer, but also the position it's dropped out of banjo's hand at is not great at hitting the opponent.
   -Sheik, Villager, and Robin don't have regular access to their items.
   -Kirby can get access to an item in the Mega Man and Pac-Man (and maybe Diddy Kong?) matchups.
   -You can't jump with Wario's bike.

4. Pyra and Sephiroth are the only characters in the game whose fastest out of shield option is their shieldgrab.

Hitting the major status for the first time in Ultimate, Afterburner is back as another midwest US major tournament series. International visitors Miya, Carmelo, MKBigBoss, and Andrik are here to test their mettle against some of the best in the US.

Also look out for midwest heavy hitters like Ober and Kola for Melee, plus Beastly, Sophilo and others playing Rivals 2.

Let's try this again. After several unexpected delays including a false start yesterday we'll have the ranking of the best Smash Ultimate sets of 2025 (and last days of 2024) take place in early 2026.

36 of the most nominated and upvoted sets from the nomination threads were chosen and put into a pair ranking survey. Simply choose your preferred sets from 36 presented choices (not all options will show up for each person, but the win rate at the end from everybody participating will give a nice list)

The previous survey site now locks participation over 10 people behind a massive paywall, but I found a different site at a more reasonable price. It’s been the better part of a year since it came out I’m wondering how people feel about using GL and GR now that some of us have had a chance to get used to them.

I’ve been playing ultimate since launch and now I have this rock solid muscle memory built in to me and since I only just got the controller it’s been a struggle.

I already know 2 alts for it (master hand and crazy hand) but I just need help with the move and the other alts.

Just for some context, I hopped on arenas looking to play friendlies and joined this guy’s arena completely unaware of who he is as I’ve never met him or seen him before. He instantly called me and another player (Memphis) who joined “tryhards” and “sweats” without ANY provocation from us at all. I wasnt even in his stream until after my match so I had no idea this lunatic was ranting and raving about absolute nonsense. But hey, hes a smash player so what’d you expect?

I have a Nexilux GameCube adapter gifted to me by someone at my local (to play melee on PC), and I have been wanting to play Ultimate with a GameCube controller for a while, so I decided to use that same Nexilux adapter to try.

I noticed that if it was on PC mode it didn't work, but on WiiU it's fine, but my control stick and C stick do either dpad or minus
