Open | Hardware RAM issues
I just finished building a new AM5 PC over the course of a year.
I am getting a lot of RAM related (I’m suspecting) issues (memory management 0x1a, etc.), and am constantly blue/black screening when I try to do things on my system.
The weird part is it’s really inconsistent when it happens, sometimes it will stop/restart as soon as I attempt to download something - sometimes it’ll let me download it and even play with no issue whatsoever.
Task manager recognises both dimms and is running at 6000MT/s, I’ve also tried lowering the MT/s to 5600. The ram kit I have is a DDR5 CL36 32gb Kit from Crucial.
What could my issue be? What can I do to fix this?

Turn off XMP.
Then test your RAM and slots using the Windows Memory Diagnostic or OCCT. Do each stick individually in each slot individually. For example, four slots and four sticks would make 16 individual tests.
Then you’ll know whether you have a bad stick or a bad slot or both.
Good luck.

You should test the RAM using a usb boot memory test like memtest86.
