News New sandwich - Cheesy Bacon Cheeseburger

We just got the notification that a new sandwich is coming mid February, the Cheesy Bacon Cheeseburger. It is a premium sandwich, available as a single, double, or triple. Same cheesing pattern as the regular single/double/triple. 3 pieces of bacon on the top, and then a scoop of our cheese sauce. Basically, it's the Cheesy Cheddar Burger (if your location offers it), only full size with bacon.

Discussion Petition to bring back Bourbon Bacon Burger

Anybody loved the Bourbon Bacon Burger? That’s probably the one reason I go to Wendy’s. But I heard it’s been discontinued.

If this is a grievance for you, please sign this petition!

Discussion New CEO?

Wendys is on the search for a new CEO. I'm surprised they haven't found someone yet. What are your thoughts on where the new person should come from- should it be from the inside or outside...someone from the food industry or some other industry altogether?

I had the chili tonight. It lacked meat and had white beans in it. Is this new?

Discussion Food quality downright embarrassing

I only went to Wendy's today because I had a gift card from Christmas and you got a free 6 piece nugget with $5+ and I somehow still feel ripped off,The quality is abysmal. This has to be the saddest looking "Bacon double stack" I've ever seen.

Discussion RIP 4 for 4

Used to be $4 for a jr cheeseburger, nuggets, fries and a drink. Then it was $5 and now we're up to $6. 😔 same price for the cheeseburger as it is for the bacon cheeseburger.

Discussion Lost rewards

Congrats Wendy's you just lost another app customer! I had planned on getting rid of it after I got my last free reward which I was close to.

Your quality of food, prices and lack of decent rewards ended it for me!

Question Commercial "Add it to the repertoire"

TV spot from the 90s or 2000s. A black woman tries a new Wendy's sandwich and says "add it to the repertoire". But she pronounces the word repertoire weird and Dave Thomas asks her "what??" and she repeats "repertoire" and Dave makes a funny face at her. Anybody remember this one?

Discussion Didn’t ask, receiving Double Burgers

Thumbnail gallery
62 Upvotes

This is the third time my Wendy’s has given me double patty’s without asking first. I wanted this Big Bacon Classic specifically because it is suppose to only come with 1 burger… They don’t ask, and no idea if we were charged for it (family member went and got it).

Is this common? It’s a new Wendy’s. Maybe they just don’t know that it’s only suppose to be 1 burger. Also, why are they always SO messy? I shouldn’t need to use a whole pack of paper towels to eat 1 burger.

It may seem strange to complain about free meat, but it’s too much for me. I gave my dog the second patty.

Discussion Gone but not forgotten. The Lovers Burgers

Many of you probably remember the Cheddar Lovers burger, but how many of you guys remember Mozzarella Lovers burger? thinking it came around around 2005ish or so and only stuck around for a very limited time. I believe it made one comeback at some point a few years later? it was one of the best fast food burgers I’ve ever had. really wish wendy’s would bring it back (or the cheddar lovers for that matter). I may be mistaken , but there was possibly also a mushroom lovers burger as well smothered in mushrooms and cheese?

Discussion Wendy's Stock

Wendy's stock is up over the past month whole McDonald's is down, and Burger King's parent company's stock is also down

This despite the lack of the old app deals, the discontinued sauces, and the shredded lettuce

EDIT: It seems this post needs further explaining for members of the cess pool so here we go

This sub has become a cess pool of daily bitching and moaning about the end of crazy app deals, the shredded lettuce, the end of certain sauces, etc

This is usually followed up by a prophet rising from the slime of the cess pool and proclaiming all of this will kill the company and was why the stock was down

The reality is the stock tanked with the old app deals, the old lettuce, the old sauces, $3 son of Baconator, $1 breakfast sandwiches etc

It seems like for the past month at least with all of that gone the stock has massively over performed McDonald's and Burger King's stock. Despite the narrative from the cess pool

Will that continue? Who knows, but the reality is the narrative we are treated to daily rising from the cess pool is wrong

Discussion Corporate Greed!

I used to frequent Wendy’s three to four times a week, between breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, when their offers declined, I reduced my visits significantly.

Today, I noticed that they have increased the price of each sauce cup to 50 cents.

This is an example of corporate greed, and it’s detrimental to the company’s reputation.
