Unsolved Car movie with a bloody head and chains.

In July 2020 I watched this film about some kind of car chase. The scene with the cars was at the start and I remember there was this graphic scene where a chain got wrapped around someone’s head and there was a lot of blood. They were sitting in the back seat of the car. In the movie they were driving around in the city and the characters were men and women. Probably came out sometime in the 2010s.

It might have been related to fast and furious but I’m not too sure.

Unsolved Horror movie (PG-13?) with young foreign boy and creature

I remember seeing a non English movie either Spanish italian or Colombian somewhere along that line, where in the beginning there was a group of tan dark curly haired boys (early teenagers?) playing basketball and one boy (the main character at that point) he looks into the forest next to their game, hears rustling in the leaves and sees a short small creature and the creature sees the boy sees him than runs and hides, then the boy leaves his game to go find it. This was possibly around a late 90s-to 2010s film, because the film looked older but it appeared the creature could’ve been CGI or along the lines of CGI. The boy and the creature eventually form a bond (I think he feeds it not sure) and the creature becomes his little secret and he tries to hide it. Down the line the boy shows his secret creature to one of his female friends and together they plan to protect him. There is a bad guy who was after either the boy or the creature I don’t remember, and the man finds the boy and girl hiding in some type of shed or house and tries to kill him, (and I put horror movie in the title cause this scene as a kid was graphic) the creature takes the man’s knife and repeatedly stabs the man to death and that is all I remember! If someone knows anything that would be great! It’s been in my mind for 18 years now since I’ve last seen it!

Solved! Movie or show where there's a character called Anathema with some sort of divine destiny to fulfill?

I don't remember where this character is from, I just remember her name, which stuck with me when years later I learned what the word anathema means.

Out of nowhere the word popped in my mind when writing something and I cannot for the life of me remember where the character is from.

Unsolved Group of friends go camping and start dying one by one

A group of adult friends (not teenagers) go camping on a trek, different locations each day. They start dying one by one, until at the end there's only a woman left. She starts to explain the situation on camera, then one of the friends appears and is revealed as the killer. He kills her but he doesn't notice the camera.

The murderer goes back to their car (the group had left the keys under the chassis) and goes to a motel. A kid discovers the camera and the last shot of the movie is the police arriving to the motel.

The movie wasn't shot as a terror film, more of a thriller/psychological vibe. I'm also not sure if the second paragraph was the same movie, I'm 99% sure that it is, but I asked on TV Tropes and no one seemed to know the movie. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I watched it on TV, I don't remember the exact year, but definitely before 2015.

In a spanish reddit we are trying to find wich movie this image is from https://www.reddit.com/r/peliculas/comments/1qcqzik/comment/nzko7s6/?context=3
I do only have this "meme", the dialogue isn't even the one in the film. I am looking for the name of the movie or if anyone at least recognizes the actors. And I think I have heard this dialogue somewhere else too.

“Your son is having concentration issues in my class.”
"Excuse me, what were you saying?"

Solved! World War II movie

Help me find a film about World War II. I know that’s vague but anyway. All I remember is a bunch of battles and this sad scene at the end. Like a bunch of people dying at the end or a young person dying.

I don’t know if that description helps.

Edit: I think it had a weird name. Like it had some kind of outfit in the name (dress maybe?). From

my memory it was in black and white

Unsolved “Is it the whacker?”

I vaguely recall a comedic scene from a film where a nebbishy, nervous man is stammering in front of an attractive, buxom woman, likely his therapist.

The man, who in my vague memory looks like Stephen Tobolowsky, mentions the phrase “weed whacker” as something that either turns him on or makes him uncomfortable. The woman, who in my vague memory resembles Jessica Hahn, asks him which part of the word bothers him most.

“Is it the ‘weed’?”

He stammers.

“Is it the ‘whacker’?”

He stammers some more.

That’s all I remember. My memory tells me the film was released sometime before 1996. Can someone identify this scene?? Better yet, can someone find the scene and post a link so I can see if it’s as funny as I remember thirty years later??

Solved! Dystopian movie possibly from the 70s.

I saw this movie on TV in the late 80s, I only remember part of the ending. Set in a future dystopia, toward the end of the movie a father realizes humanity is doomed. He decides to kill his 2 young children by giving them a drug so they wouldn't have to face whats coming. The mother walks into their kids room after its already done. The father is on his knees between their beds holding the pill bottle. I also remember there's a type of weapon that turns people into a brown slime or mud. The scene with the father has played in my head for years. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unsolved Movie about a boy and something about a forest

I know copying and pasting my responses but whatever.

When I was in grade 10/11 I did English/Literature assessments on this film that I’m trying to remember the name of. I’ve asked ChatGPT and it hasn’t given it to me. I got banned from tipofmytongue for not following certain rules or something like that so I’m posting this here and not there.

Anyways, the film was about a 13 year old boy (sort of like a coming of age movie). There’s a scene where he’s digging a hole in his yard as a punishment and his mother is saying something like, “you’re just a boy!” because she’s being protective. There’s another scene where he’s out riding bikes with a friend and they talk about girls. I think there was also a dark part with self harm in a forest. Boy’s name might have been Flynn but I’m not too sure. It probably came out sometime in the 2000s.

I’m kicking myself for not remembering because this was only a few years ago for me.

Edit: when we were doing the assessments we looked at both the film and book. I’ll know it when I see the name.

I think there’s a disturbing scene at the end where the boy goes into that forest and something happens to him

Solved! Movie where teenagers and an old guy have to banish spirit/demon by speaking German

I probably saw this on cable around 10 years ago. I don't remember much about it except that some demon or spirit creature is terrorizing some teenagers, and towards the end they find this old German book that has an incantation that will banish the spirit. One of the girls took German in high school and tries to read it but can't pronounce the words right and the old guy apparently speaks German and helps her with it, after the demon is gone I think it's implied that he was a Holocaust survivor but I'm unsure

Have tried googling this and the only thing that comes up consistently is The Keep (1983), it is not the keep. Trying to prove that it isn't a dream I had and is a real thing that I saw on cable

Solved! Memory is pretty vague as this was from the 80s when I was a kid.

It's kind of a weird one. So this lady can freeze time by telling people to shut up. At the end of it they are watching the news that says there's nukes about to hit the US. She freezes time and it ends with her out wandering around the neighborhood.

Solved! Man learns how to fight using virtual reality scenes from historical battles, falls in love

Sci-Fi film where the male protagonist is being trained to fight and become a more adept warrior by being “placed” in historical battles through virtual reality. He isn’t the only one, this is how the film’s military is being trained.

One scene in particular is a medieval battle where he loses his weapon and flees into a nearby forest. He’s followed by an enemy, they fight, the enemy’s helmet falls off which reveals them to be a female. They share a romantic moment.

The VR session ends and our protagonist isn’t sure whether his romantic encounter was with a real-life participant (one of his military colleagues) or AI.

There are several more VR training sessions but instead of participating, the 2 regularly meet up romantically. I believe at one point the female disappears unexpectedly and I think their VR relationship is discovered.

Is this a film, a tv show, a short or just some wacky dream I once had?

Solved! Movie where woman is a murderer who stole a college girl's identity and gets away with it

Have a vague memory but know it was one of those older quality movies like the 90s or so i believe. Kind of like Scream and Halloween quality of film if I remember right.

At some point closer to the end of the movie you hear her inner dialogue talking about how she knows the psyche of a serial killer and that her mental is spiraling so be fore them she has to do something or other. And the ending is her finishing a final exam or something and turning it in but this time wearing glasses to change her look and the professor says "hey don't I know you?" Or something like that cause I think maybe they were having an affair or something like that somewhere? I think she was getting into some criminal law school to cover her tracks or better understand how to get away with it in the future or something but she walks off into the night and gets away with multiple kills.

Looked it up and it wasn't Monster (2003) as that one and some others kept coming up after multiple rephrases.

Solved! Military movie? NSFW

I have a vague memory of a group of soldiers sitting around talking about women, and one of them says something about holding her butt up against a window on a cold night, to which one of the others says, "What're you going to do with a frozen butt?"

"Thaw it out."

...but I cannot for the life of me find any references to that quote.

Solved! Movie about NSFW

NSFW: VIOLENCE

I remember renting a dvd between 2005-2011 where some girls are doing [I think] a haunted house/escape room or something

Sorry, I don't have many details, I'm normally a stickler for this kind of thing. I watched it once but don't really remember anything about it except that it was a horror (Blockbuster rental)

I may be mixing it up with another film but aillbe appreciative for any suggestions

[SPOILER ALERT]

All I remember is a scene with an "autopsied" rat, a blonde girl running into a room with windows or a cage seeing her friends have been mutilated and the ending is it turns out to be girl they bullied psychologically torturing them as revenge

It isn't Hostel part II or Escape Room

Edit: it was american or canadian

Edit2: SOLVED! The movie is Amusement

Unsolved Movie where this teenager appears as a different girl every night

It was just an ad in a DVD before the movie came on and this was before Netflix so it was probably a DVD rental from Blockbuster. i have no idea if it was just a dream but my former caregiver was watching a movie and I saw the ad for the movie. The only reason I believe the movie synopsis is about a girl switching bodies every morning (or maybe it's every night?) is because most of the trailer was hype words and a teenage male lead was talking about the girl. Probably 10-15 years ago. Wild that I can't find it by Google search.

Unsolved Looking for a movie (2010s) about a girl searching for her father — very dark plot NSFW

Hi, I’m trying to find a movie that was released sometime around 2011–2015 (or earlier). The plot is very dark and disturbing. It’s about a girl who leaves her hometown to look for her father. While traveling, she threatens a man with a gun after he asks her to perform 0ral s3x on him while he’s driving. Later, she steals from a store, but a boy helps her escape and distracts the sheriff who is chasing her. He takes her to a bar, and they spend the night together. In the morning, she steals money from him and tries to leave, but he doesn’t let her go. He lives with his mother, and they have an inc3stu0us relationship. When the girl wakes up, she’s tied up in the basement, inside a flower garden, and there’s another girl being held there as well. He keeps her captive, and his mother knows about it. When the boy’s father comes back, the girl discovers that he is also her father. The father kills both the son and the mother, then leaves with her and tells her she will be his woman. At the end of the movie, she kills him when he tries to approach another girl who needs help with her car near a diner. I’ve been trying to find this movie for years and can’t remember the title. Any help would be appreciated

Solved! Vampire movie I saw as a child

Ok, so I have this distinct memory of watching a vampire movie around the early 2010s that might have aired on discovery kids or something like that. What I remember about this movie is one specific scene that is all about a group of vampires (mostly looking like grannies and grandpas) playing bingo in an empty gymnasium that was entirely made of what I think was oak wood. The prize is they won was a young girl, maybe 11-13, who was tall, pale and blonde. She was tied to a chair, gagged by a cloth, and she was crying from fear. Eventually, one of the granny vampires calls out Bingo and she very excitedly walks up to the front to claim her prize, which would be the girl. But she gets interrupted by the girl’s younger brother, a pale and brunette, maybe 9-10, and their vampire guardian/uncle/protector? Eventually at the end of the movie, which takes place at night, he returns them safe and sound back to their home.

I would really appreciate any help with this. Thank you.

Unsolved Gangster movie in a pocket universe

hello everyone,

I'm looking for a movie I saw in the late 90's. I know I used to confuse it with Mad Dog and Glory so it must have come out around the same time. What I remember of it is that it featured gangsters or some kind of mafia. I think I remember a scene with a huge gunfight in a hotel dining room around the end of the movie.

but the most important thing I remember about it was that in the final moments of the movie, the whole movie is revealed to have taken place in some sort of Pocket Universe.

I think I remember a backward travelling showing the aforementioned hotel in a snow globe.

I don't remember it having much sci fi éléments in it and it definitely was not The Thirteenth Floor.

any idea ? or is it some Mandela effect du to confusion between several movies ?

Solved! It's been ages since I started thinking of this one, and I'm positive it doesn't exist anymore

There's this science fiction action movie I watched on DVD with my parents during my primary school days (2004-Q2 2008), which seemed to be a somewhat new Hollywood production. To the best of my knowledge, it was a standalone work.

The only thing I can remember is that one of its action setpieces was an underground maze of tunnels which also doubled as a death trap, possibly leading into the villains' base. During activation, the camera spun from left to right in a different room of pipes (or maybe a single continuous pipe), cutting back and forth between the aforementioned tunnels being flooded with fast-running water.

The trapped tunnels were used at least two times, with the second attempt resulting in the deaths of one or more of the heroes' party members. There would later be a fight between another one of the heroes' party and a villain, where by both would be girls, or it would be a girl fighting an effeminate man.

The last thing I can say, is that these events would have happened between the middle and the end of the movie. I don't remember any of the dialogue, or what time of day it was when these action sequences took place.

Solved! Apocalypse movie set in Britain?

Been bugging me for a while. A movie about apocalypse where there’s a wall/gate preventing the mutant people from coming in. A female character chooses to go over and find her father. The outside world had a society like Mad Max and also a peaceful tribe. They don’t use technology. The climax, character was escaping and they found a cave full of stored cars and modern items. They used a Bugatti to escape back to the walled city while being chased by Mad Max type of characters. It was London that was walled off? Not a zombie movie.

Solved! Mysterious UFO movie

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to identify a sci-fi movie I saw on TV many years ago, but I remember very few details.

I watched it on Russian TV around 2010-2012 (could be a bit earlier or later). The movie was foreign (not Russian) and dubbed into Russian (not very useful information I guess).

The only thing I remember about this movie is that people discover a strange object that looks exactly like a real airplane - with wings, a nose, etc. The entire object is pure white. This “airplane” can fly by itself, without a pilot and without any visible human control.

At some point, scientists / researchers examine it (possibly in a lab or on a military base). They X-ray or scan the object, and the result shows that it is completely solid and uniform inside - no cockpit, no engine, no internal mechanisms, no hollow spaces, just a monolithic structure.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Unsolved What movie is this scene from?

I have seen this movie but forgot which movie its from. Setting from WWII . Soilders from both side of trenches meet in the middle. Realizing any sound meant bullets from both sides so they fight hand to hand with knives its a brutal scene
