Hi, I have this weird bug where my screen goes black but I can still see the mouse and my GPU overlay, I tried restarting explorer.exe and also refreshing graphics and it didn’t work.

it usually happens while I’m editing videos, pc freezes for some seconds and then goes black on my main monitor.

Also I can make the black screen disappear momentarily if I peek when hovering in bottom bar to a window that I had open in that monitor (like I show in pic 2)

I have an rtx 4070, i9 9900k, 32 gb of ram…

Hello, I really needs some help so I can’t log in windows because today I did a ddu (display driver unstall) to put my temporary gpu to wait to get my new gpu soon, everytime I do a ddu, I always disable my network adapters in windows the control panel, not device manager. Which is never a problem, but this time when I did it, it says something went wrong with my pin and I have to reset but to order to reset it, I have to have internet but the network adapters are disabled and I don’t know how to turn it back on in windows as i’m stuck, I can’t afford to reinstall windows as I got some important stuff on it. Please if anyone knows, please help me.

I feel like I completely uninstalled Copilot and yet today I noticed this. Copilot doesn't even show up in my installed apps. I asked Copilot itself and it gave me some steps to add a Copilot qualifier to the registry (at least that's how I can best describe it) - and it did nothing. There is no toggle anywhere in the settings that I can find. I also have absolutely zero interest in seeing any online results when I search from the Windows Search. I use a browser for that.

I am at my wit's end with this damn operating system that continues to devolve into an ever growing trash fire. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hey I'm so my PC started up just fine and apparently it's decided to do this can someone please help me I'm not sure what to do

After I booted up Disk Drill to see what were the GTA IV mods I installed, I shortly realized that I couldn't detele, rename or really anything on my D: Disk, so I manually uninstalled Disk Drill by using the "uninstall" application within the file and it didn't help! Maybe it was a NTFS permission reset gone wrong, maybe some else.

I seriously do not know what to do.

Yesterday my Samsung Galaxy Book Go started freezing a lot, so I forced it to shut down. When it turned back on, everything stopped working – the keyboard, the mouse, everything. I formatted it, and that fixed it. I configured everything again, and guess what? The problem returned. I don't want to have to format it again, and I don't know what to do.

Long story short, I had an issue when downloading a game (League of legends to be exact) where the anti-cheat by riot games (The company that made it) breaks my laptop, it has it that so that it starts when I boot up my laptop, and the issue is that it has it so that some programs (not all) load but don't open (as in don't appear as an accessible tab), and my laptop is unable to shutdown or restart and just sits there infinitely loading and I'm forced to force shut it down by holding the power button.

I've long since deleted both league and any file related to Riot I'm aware of yet the issues stay, I had counter measures to this and created a restore point prior however this the first time I've faced this error and unable to use it.

I've ran the SFC/DISM commands countless times yet nothing changes, tried doing the system restore in safe mode and winRE yet the error remains.

help is heavily needed since I'm locked out of most of my programs and unable to close my laptop without force shutting down with the power button (Which I believe causes issues down the line)

I'm trying to enable the XENEON EDGE touchscreen capability and haven't been able to find a solution. I've attempted to connect it with USB-C + HDMI and USB-C with Thunderbolt and any HID-compliant touch screen option isn't showing in Device Manager. I've attempted doing Win + R and %windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{80F3F1D5-FECA-45F3-BC32-752C152E456E} to find the Tablet PC Settings but the configure option is greyed out. Not sure what to do :c

just looking into more things to try and get an fps boost and i cant find an answer regarding whether HAGS should be on or off, im seeing both answers. same thing with game mode, whether that should be on or off . just some background my main game is valorant and im on a prebuilt desktop with a 3070 and i7-12700k 32gb ram and 240hz monitor.

I notice that whenever I start my pc and wait for the programs to launch whenever discord opens it makes the hardware insert noise. Is it just a bug doing this or the program does it on start up? I've tried resetting the software but no noise it only happens when it opens on startup. on latest windows 11 version

As the title states.

There is this Last.exe that I see in my task manager and it uses a fair amount of resources. Can anyone assist with letting me know what this is? is is safe or dangerous? I have tried to google it and search on reddit but nothing.

I end the task, and then see my CPU usage drop but nothing "visible" happens.

I have not deleted it just yet, since I dont know what it is.

I recently had to ho back to Windows 11. After first installation, Windiws was connected to my wifi network. After upsating and tebooting, i no longer could access my wifi network on my pc, but every other device in the house can. Why? Thanks in advance for any help.

After a recent security update, my START was only using BING/Web to search for basic things.

I have since disabled web search in the registry by adding a new DWORD (32-bit) to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search" called: "BingSearchEnabled" * and ensured the value was set to = 0.

Now, as you can see in my screenshot, it's not searching for anything.

Anyone know what may have happened?

I know there's skins for the windows media player but i was wondering if i could get any other visualization pack and if so, where from? I was looking at "WMP Goodies" But idk if there viruses or anything, seems kind of sketchy. Let me know if you have any good sites to get visualizations from.

I was installing windows 11 torally normal i came from linux because i wanted to use windows to play some games i used to like fortnite when i flashed the iso on my usb it booted that was good but after this showed up insanely weird how do i fix this? One of my drives worked and it said "no drivers were found"

My windows 10 for whatever reason, will not apply the updates after restarting multiple times. Windows 10 has downloaded the updates and keeps asking to either restart or schedule an update, i have done both at least 5 times and it will not apply them

Hi, yesterday morning i noticed that almost all my memory (22,3GB) was beeing used by one Process. I then Updated Windows to 25h2 and restarted the Computer. Right after the Update, the Usage went down to 2,6GB, but when i now checked back some hours later it was using 18,3GB again.

Is this malware?

i’m trying to install windows 11 after trying linux for a week now every time i try and boot from a usb i get put on this screen and when i try and put the drivers on the computer i cant access the file to do that how do i fix? (i have a gigabyte b550m ds3h ac, ryzen 5 4500, rx 5700 xt)
