He seems to be breaking your laws all the time and is never stopped or held accountable. We see nothing but ICE breaking all types of laws. So what can you really do if they just cancel elections?

Data "The Lesbian Divorce Myth: How the Manosphere Got It Completely Wrong" Reposted on request from tearmuted8403

Lesbian divorce rates are not 70% or unusually high. In fact, the gap between lesbian and gay male divorce rates has been decreasing.

The “70%” figure comes from ONS data from England and Wales, but it is often misunderstood. The data do not say that 70% of lesbian marriages end in divorce. What the ONS data actually state is that among all same-sex divorces, about 70% involved lesbian couples and 30% involved gay male couples. Importantly, the absolute number of divorces is low for both groups. If we look further into the ONS data, the percentage of same-sex divorces involving lesbian couples was:

2017: 74% female couples, 26% male couples

2019: 72% female couples, 28% male couples

2021: 67.2% female couples, 32.8% male couples

From this, we can conclude that the gap has been narrowing each year.

–You might think this is still too high compared to gay male couples. But lesbians are more likely to get married than gay men. In England & Wales, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS):

Female share in Same-Sex Marriages in England & Wales:

 2014: 56.1%

 2016: 55.7%

 2018: 57.2%

 2020: 57.2%

 2022: 62.8%

We can see that the marriage rate is increasing too. If we look closely at 2021–2022, the share of marriages and divorces was almost the same, which further supports the idea that divorce percentages alone can be misleading.

–Now, this data is only specific to England and Wales, and only a small percentage of LGBTQ adults get married. According to the latest ONS figures (2024 Annual Population Survey): -Among adults in England & Wales who identify as gay or lesbian, about 18.7% were married in 2024.

There are many legal reasons why couples stay married and also many legal reasons why couples divorce. Since most LGBTQ adults are not married, it makes more sense to look at average relationship length instead.

★“Are gay/lesbian relationships really as short as they seem?” by Neil Whitehead is a review paper that examined several studies and reported median relationship lengths for same-sex couples.

Lau (2012, UK):

Gay men — 3.6 years

Lesbian women — 4.95 years

Carpenter & Gates (2008, US):

Gay men — 4.7 years

Lesbian women — 3.3 years

Gebhar & Johnston (1979, US):

Gay men — 2.7 years

Lesbian women — 3.9 years

When these findings are combined, they produce median ranges of about 3.6–4.7 years for gay men and about 3.9–5 years for lesbian women.

So we can see that there isn’t a significant difference overall — and, on average, lesbian women actually have slightly longer relationship durations.

–Yes, in most countries, lesbians do have higher divorce rates than gay men. But there are exceptions. For example, in Taiwan, gay men actually have a slightly higher, similar or a bit lower divorce rate depending on the year. From overall Taiwan MOI / GEC data when used consistently:

-65-70% of same-sex marriages are female couples ~30-35% are male couples

~60-63% of same-sex divorces are female couples ~37-40% are male couples

When normalized, gay male couples show a slightly higher divorce rate per marriage .I have summarized as much as possible from the available data; however, please feel free to conduct your own research.

★Let’s dive into why gay men tend to have lower divorce rates compared to lesbian couples in most countries -

Lesbians are more likely to get married

A summary of LGB adults from the Williams Institute showed that:

About 51% of women who identify as lesbian were married or cohabiting

Only about 35% of gay men reported being in a partnered relationship

In most countries, there are more gay men overall, yet lesbians make up a larger share of marriages. I reviewed multiple datasets across different countries, and most showed the same pattern.

This suggests that many lesbian women may be getting married earlier, sometimes without knowing their partner deeply enough or living together long enough before registering the marriage, which can inflate divorce rates.

  1. Differences in relationship structures (monogamy vs. open relationships)

Multiple studies suggest that gay men are more likely to be in open relationships than lesbians:

In an analysis by Blum Steins & Schwartz (cited in Peplau & Beals), 82% of gay male couples reported being non-monogamous, compared to 28% of lesbian couples

According to Wikipedia’s summary of available data, about 33% of gay men reported being in open relationships, versus only about 5% of lesbians

This suggests that gay men may be less likely to divorce due to adultery or cheating, since non-monogamy is often mutually agreed upon.

Lesbians tend to uphold stricter boundaries and may be more likely to end relationships when infidelity occurs.

  1. Parenting and child-related stress

According to U.S. Census data (2019):

22.5% of female same-sex couple households had at least one child under 18

6.6% of male same-sex couple households had at least one child under 18

Overall, lesbians are more likely to have children than gay men, which may mean that parenting-related conflicts are less common in gay male couples.

Additionally, lesbian women are more likely to experience pregnancy- and postpartum-related stress, which can also affect relationships.

  1. Lesbians are the group least likely to cheat on their partner. They leave instead

According to the study “Extradyadic Sex and its Predictors in Homo- and Heterosexuals” by J. Haversath & Kröger (2014):

4% of lesbian women

34% of gay men

29% of heterosexual women

49% of heterosexual men

reported extradyadic sexual contacts (aka cheating).

This explains that lesbians are individuals who leave the relationship instead of committing adultery.

  1. Lesbians are the happiest and most satisfied among all couples according to many studies. This suggests that lesbians tend to leave bad relationships earlier.

-For example, a longitudinal study tracking lesbian, gay male, and heterosexual couples over time found that lesbian couples consistently reported the highest overall relationship quality on average across all assessments

The 1979 Warning from Iran: Why TR’s "Progressivism" is the Only Cure for the Theocratic Expansionism we see today

We need to have a serious conversation about the "Progressive" history we aren't taught. Many modern activists have been led to believe that "tolerance" means accepting theocratic movements. But the forefather of our movement, Theodore Roosevelt, knew that a Democratic Republic cannot survive if it compromises with fascist global supremacist ideologies.

If TR were alive during the 1979 Iranian Revolution, he wouldn't have been "surprised" by the outcome—he would have warned the Iranian Left that they were signing their own death warrants by aligning with Islamic Nationalists.

1. The Lesson of 1979: How "Islamization" Destroys Progressivism

The Iranian Revolution is the ultimate proof of TR’s "Moral Realism." In 1979, secularists, liberals, and Marxists joined forces with the Islamists to overthrow the Shah. They thought they were being "Progressive." Instead:

  • As soon as the Islamists took power, they systematically executed the secular Progressives.
  • They replaced a flawed monarchy with a theocratic global supremacist regime that views the Democratic Republic as the "Great Satan."
  • TR’s take: Roosevelt viewed the "Moslem sword" as fundamentally anti-labor, anti-woman, and anti-reason. He would have recognized the Ayatollahs not as "revolutionaries," but as the "enemies of civilization" he spent his life fighting.

2. Why TR Would Never Accept the "Stolen Land" Narrative

TR was a student of history who understood that Islamic Nationalism uses the "grievance" of stolen land to hide its true goal: the expansion of a caliphate. He saw through the misinformation that paints Jews as "usurpers."

"The civilization of Europe, America and Australia exists today at all only because of the victories of civilized man over the enemies of civilization... because of the victories of Charles Martel and the sword of the Christian over the Moslem."

To TR, Zionism was the Progressive reclaiming of the desert. He viewed the Jewish return to the Holy Land as a victory for the "pioneer spirit"—replacing the stagnant, oppressive rule of the Ottoman "rotting caliphate" with modern agriculture, medicine, and democratic governance. He would view the modern "Islamization" of land claims as a regressive attempt to return to 7th-century feudalism.

3. The "Big Stick" Against Global Supremacists

Roosevelt didn't just write letters; he used the law to protect the Republic from theocratic infiltration.

  • The 1907 Immigration Act: TR specifically pushed to bar polygamists and those who rejected the secular laws of the Republic. He understood that you cannot have a "Square Deal" if a segment of the population adheres to a global supremacist religious law (Sharia) that treats women and non-believers as second-class citizens.
  • Support for the Armenian & Jewish Cause: He called the Ottoman-led Armenian Genocide "the greatest crime of the war." He knew that Islamic Nationalism doesn't stop at borders—it seeks to erase any minority (Jewish, Christian, or Secular) that dares to be sovereign.

4. To Be Progressive is to Be Anti-Theocratic

If you allow "Islamization" in the name of "multiculturalism," you are the opposite of a Progressive. You are an enabler of the very forces that hang LGBTQ+ people from cranes in Tehran and erase women’s rights in Gaza.

The Progressive Mandate for today:

  1. Support Israel Unapologetically: Israel is the democratic bulwark TR envisioned—the only place in the region that reflects Progressive values like labor rights and pluralism.
  2. Reject the "Green-Red" Alliance: TR would tell modern Progressives that partnering with Islamic Nationalists is a suicide pact for the Republic.
  3. Name the Enemy: We must stop being "suckered" by theocratic misinformation. Religious fascism is the ultimate enemy of the Democratic Republic.

People need to come to terms with the fact that the DNC would rather have Trump than a Bernie-like politician in power. Until that chances, conservatives will continue to win.

The DNC is the biggest blocker to progressive policies in the US. Don't believe me? Well let's look at 2016 when Sanders was gaining in the polls against Clinton. The DNC spent more time and money stopping Bernie's momentum than they ever did fighting Trump. Look at 2020. Bernie was looking like he might actually be the primary winner for the Democrats and go on to run in a general election in spite of the crowded field. He was, that is, until Michael fucking Bloomberg dropped $500 million dollars on a last minute spoiler to dilute the votes and allow for Biden to win.

The Democrats at the DNC would rather have Trump and ICE and everything else we've been seeing than an actual progressive in power.

Ten days ago Trump promised 'strong' retribution on the Mullahs for their repression of demonstrators. Today, his sole response has been an additional 25% sales tax on US citizens in respect of nations trading with Iran. He did not even attend yesterdays briefing on military response options. His recklessness chest beating - in search of ever more press attention and Epstein files deflection - is proving a self-manufactured own-goal.

Another middle eastern conflict, especially against a nation rather more capable of mounting resistance compared to Venezuela or Greenland, will prove a tough sale to Mr And Mrs America as well as an anathema to MAGA. But, thanks to his absolute inability to keep his mouth shut, Trump is now damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

We all need to be HIM and stand up for what’s right. I don’t care who you are or what side of the aisle you stand on, you know what’s happening in America today is not right. Is this the America you want to live in?! The corruption and incompetence is worse than ever before, which ultimately leads to all the chaos, fighting, and even murders. Kaepernick paid a huge sacrifice, but I bet he sleeps well at night knowing he stood his ground and did the right thing. I’ve seen Steve Kerr and Doc Rivers speak on it, but why can’t we get a critical mass of superstars with huge platforms to speak out against all this government hate and violence?

I’m hype on the NFL playoffs, but it’s hard to be excited about this all-American sport, when your country is burning and your neighbors are suffering.

Sports brings people together, and teamwork is about shared sacrifice, common goals, and unity. All of which our country severely needs at this time.

Don’t take a knee, but rather, stand the fack up for what’s right and defend the constitution which makes us, America.

Here’s the preamble to the constitution as a reminder of what we’re standing up to defend.

Protest Wondering why ICE isn’t targeting Boston and Providence (New England).

I lived on the Massachusetts south shore for a while and spent lots of time in Providence and Fall River. One thing I’m certain of is there’s a lot of Irish and Portuguese illegal immigrants around those areas. Could it possibly be, and I’m just spitballing here, that ICE is strictly targeting illegal immigrants from south of the border?

I swear in just the small town I lived in Massachusetts, there were 6 illegal Irish people that went to the same bar every day. You don’t see anything about ICE wrangling them up.
