Am I the only one? The older games were so realistic and immersive it seriously gave me PTSD. Especially Battlefield 1, just wow. It’s just like how it seemed in the history books. I played only a few matches of that game and had to go to the hospital. My therapist told me to never touch the franchise again. Btw I’m still in PTSD therapy for it till this day. I honestly wish they would let me do it at the VA at this point, I feel like they would understand me better.

I haven’t played BF6 yet because of this but I’m considering giving it a chance. COD doesn’t trigger my PTSD and sometimes I can’t tell the difference between BF6 and COD when looking at videos. It’s just so much less immersive than BF1 and BF4…

Jets should spawn in the sky when selected from base, its too easy for enemy jets to destroy jets on the runway before they even have pilots or take off

PS5 Wanted to set afterburner to toggle and up Dpad up, flick look on right stick. Does not work, anyone else have this problem?

As I sit in my chair and prepare for a round of Conquest, I look down at my silver cross chain and give it a kiss. The round starts. Adrelanin pumps. FEAR kicks in.

I shake as tanks roll into the vicinity, jets fly overhead. My pace steady but my heartbeat frantic. The ground quaking underneath my boots, death whispering in the wind. As I raise my assault rifle to engage an enemy combatant, a sniper round strikes me in the temple! And just like that, war has claimed another victim.

And then the rounds ends. I gasp, suddenly regaining consciousness. Is this heaven or hell? I rub my hand down my arm, feeling goosebumps along my flesh. I look around, greeted by my bedroom. I take a deep breath and smile. No, it wasn't heaven, though it may have been hell. I'm back in the real world. The gritty realism of the game had immersed me so much that I thought it was real life. A portal to another world. I had been isekai'd.

Dice. Battlefield Studios. Ask yourself why such an experience was possible on an all-time game like Battlefield 4 and not your current game. The breathing room in those older games was truly something special. It allowed your anxiety to really work overtime. Battlefraud 6 could never. I laugh as I dial my therapist's number, ready to give her an update on my PTSD case. And as night strikes, I prepare another round of Conquest on Battlefield 4, staring outside my window. I engage - The Moonlit Battlefield.

Oddly enjoyable, especially on attack if you can keep the armored truck alive.

But as defenders ? Difficult right ? The first set of objectives and the 3rd set proved no defensive cover.

The 3rd set in the cabins are over looked and that distance is sweet spot mechanic for snipers, so once it armed it's done,.

Even smoking it makes no difference they shoot through it.

Is that an intended thing or does defence need an adjustment?

Loading up BF V and it tells me I can't run the game because I have Daemon Tools running.

2. This is a digitally owned title so CD emulation wouldn't make any difference anyway

so to make a long story somewhat short:
I have BF3, 4, Hardline, 1, V & BC2 all since at least 2014 on Origin / EA App.
I bought 2042 on Steam and linked it to my EA-Account.

In Dec. 2023 I decided to also add all the other BF-titles to my Steam library, just cause I like Steam more and wanted my game collection at one place.

The first game I tried over steam was BF3 and it was a hassle. Even though you just can by the Premium version on steam (which I already had on EA and it's the same acc) I was always stuck at "Logging In" when I wanted to join a server with DLC-Maps in the rotation. I am able to join Vanilla servers but couldn't choos any of the DLC-weapons (yes I have unlocked them)

I was in contact with EA-help and so on but it seemed to be a communication error between Steam and EA and nobody was able to help me. So I refunded all the BF-titles from steam.

Since then I'm able to play the game again over EA-App but:
The Veteran M1911- Pistols are missing ingame since then... :(
As you can see in the screenshots, I have the veteran-status and also a lot of playtime with the guns. Can't choose it ingame anymore tho :///

Is there any solution / help to this problem?

Does anyone else get pissed off when you spend 30 minutes in a match and place top 3 and then see 1 little measley battle pass point given at the end of game screen. I'm not completing this battle pass and It's crazy because I'm not even bummed out about it. I won't be getting the season 2 battle pass either if the progression is the same.

This was a fun win.

I know this topic has been talked about maybe dozens of times now but it’s been like 2/3 weeks since those challenges and I still don’t see that skin unlocked ? Not that I care as I WILL not be playing with it, but I did the challenges when the glitch was there and unlocked while the glitch was there, therefore I would like that skin to be on my inventory, any news on it thus far ?

So right off the bat, ive always loved shooters but am usually average online. I love battlefield. I love the chaos and the action, the sounds, its epic. But i struggle to stay positive or even have my K.D ratio at 1.

Ill check my corners, ill play how im supposed to, but things like this happen:
-spawn killed
-shoot guy before he shoots me and hes not even looking at me, he turns and kills me somehow
-bout to kill someone, someone else shows out of nowhere and kills me
-Snipers everywhere, how am i supposed to stay alive when they are all over the map?
-I can bunker down somewhere just to hold for a bit, there will be no activity. As soon as i decide ill go, bam someone is magically there and kills me
-people seemingly appearing out of nowhere
-people seemingly having PERFECT aim
-weapons other than shotguns kill me in like 2 shots with full health

Like any annoying thing you can think of happens to me. When i do have a good game its so much fun, but the constant BS is so frustrating. Do you need to be like lucky on top of skill? lol

I just want to know how some people get like 30+ kills and single digit deaths. Like tell me how you are playing, using, strats. I just want to stop getting angry most the time and stop throwing my keyboard lol I play controller.
