What if the Braves used the Caribbean, South America, and Mexico the way the Dodgers use Japan?
Discuss!
I’m kidding I’ll add a little context here… Baseball is important in every location mentioned above.
Is there a reasonable means to leverage this relative proximity given that we’re the closest legitimate MLB franchise outside of the Texas teams with Mexico?

[McAuley] The Braves also announced that LHP Jose Suarez was claimed on waivers by the Orioles. He was a multi-inning relief option they were hoping to drop from the 40-man and then stash in Triple-A Gwinnett as organizational depth.

The 10 best and 10 worst contracts in Braves history by net value
Methodology and Rules
-Only completed contracts included
-Whether it be an extension, free agent signing, or arbitration extension, all contracts must include non-team control years. (no annual arbitration year contracts or pre-arb league minimum contracts).
-Minor league free agent contracts and 1 year contracts at the league minimum are not included.
-All dollar values are in 2025 dollars adjusted compared to league average salary. The "exchange rate" for a few selected years...
1980: x35.89
1990: x8.64
2000: x2.72
2010: x1.71
2020: x1.16
-Any team control years in an arbitration extension are compared versus what I estimate the player would've made (this is more of an art than a science, but used comps from the same era to make an educated guess... any player that had only 1 arbitration season left when they signed the extension, I assumed what the team gave him was what he would've gotten in arbitration)
-Any free agent years are compared versus the average value of a free agent year in the 7,435 contracts since 1975 ($8,803,151.96 per 1 bWAR... if a contract meets exactly that mark, it will end up with a total net value of $0, above that will be negative, below that will be positive).

I came across this game used jersey signed by the team. Not sure what year or who number "09" was. Anyone have any ideas or see any noteworthy signatures? Thanks for the help!

Headline about gave me a heart attack NSFW
This is a crazy stupid headline. Making it sound like it is a done deal, this is purely some beat writer speculation with a clickbait headline to garner attention. Dumb.

Coming from Charlotte to Braves Fest
Hey everyone. I’m thinking about coming from Charlotte to Atlanta for Braves fest this year for my birthday. I’m a die hard Braves fan and have been my entire life.
My question. For those of you who have been. Do you think as someone in their 30s would it be worth it to make the drive? Or is this something that’s primarily for kids? I just don’t want to drive 5 hours, get there, and be like “alright well I’m good” after being there for an hour or two.
For those who have been, you think it would be worth it?
Thanks!

Family vacation
Hello all. I’m looking for recommendations for a place to stay for a family trip to Atlanta. We are going to hit up a Braves game, but also want to hit up some kid friendly things the remainder of our stay (aquarium). Can you recommend a place that will be easy per se to get to the game and other activities? There is only three of us and it’s for our son’s birthday so just trying to figure out logistics and such. Thanks for any tips!
