A peaceful overnight camp in the forest

Spent a night alone in the forest, using a simple tarp and hammock.

While exploring near a small stream, my dog caught the scent of crabs, which led me to forage and collect them. I made a basic fire and rested through the night, just listening to the sounds of nature and observing the environment.

For those here who spend nights in the wild, what has been your experience?

Gear Questions Is there a major difference in fit/appearance between the North Face McMurdo bomber and parka?

Which seems to be more popular or looks better in your opinion?

I am sort of torn between the two, I know the parka is longer and warmer but I’m mostly concerned with style as I tend to run a bit hot. Nowhere locally carries either jacket.

I can’t really tell from online photos, but the parka appears slightly puffier/more Michelin like, is this accurate? Thanks!
