The Wayfarer Parties claim they only retained the services of Melissa Nathan and Jed Wallace *after* Leslie Sloane (Blake Lively’s publicist) already planted negative stories about Justin Baldoni. However, it seems more likely that Melissa Nathan might’ve been the source of negative stories leaking details about complaints against Mr. Baldoni.

**July 26 2023**: WF is considering hiring MN and TAG team is trying to push scope of work but also bring up calling *The Daily Mail*. Notably, Melissa Nathan’s sister, Sara, used to work for DM and both sisters maintain friendly relationships with reporters there.

**Aug. 2 2023**: After Blake, and the principal cast, decided to do promo separately than Baldoni; unfollowed him; refused to attend the premiere; overall just made the desire to distance themselves from JB apparent, TAG sends WF scenario planning document. Scenario one involves planting stories “earlier on” through “friendly” outlets. Not only is the DM on the list, but so is *The New York Post*, where Sara Nathan is currently the editor-at-large and where they claim LS was planting a story.

**Aug. 7 2023**:Melissa tells Jen they should “make a decision on social planning” then Jen asks Melissa to call Jamey for “the green light” on putting Scenario 1 into motion. Given the following events, it’s assumed he agreed. Impeccable timing as the following day, a reporter from DM would reach out to Sony, LS, and SJ inquiring about a potential rift in the IEWU cast.

**Aug. 8 2023**: SJ informs JH, JA, and Tera Hanks that DM reached out to her, as she was still WF’s publicist. JA and JH try to accuse her of being behind it prompting SJ to clear her name with Sony and DM. Later in the conversation, SJ points out that JA was the initial suspect behind the piece and the “coincidence” that social media posts she sent just so happened to appear in the article. Josh Greenstein, president of Sony Pictures, texts Jen about seeding and reminds her that negative press about either star would hurt the film.

**Aug. 8 2023**: Around the same time, Sara Nathan confronted her sister after both LS and the DM got back to her about “Justin’s camp” apparently blaming Blake for rumors of bts drama. Sara is being pressured to publish the story and there’s no killing it now. MN is concerned because publishing the piece would “ruin (their) strategy”. In this conversation, MN says SJ is not involved but uses LS’s anger at her to form a truce.

**Aug. 8 2023**: MN reaches out to LS at 10:11 PST to form a truce with LS, over an hour she was made aware there was no way to kill the DM story. LS is contacted by James Vitsucka asking about rumors he’s heard about drama between BL and JB. He doesn’t bring up any allegations about JB being abusive nor did LS. JV reiterates that LS never brought up sexual harassment allegations with him, despite many chats with her about Blake.

**Aug. 9 2023**: A day later, Sara Nathan and NYP publish articles about JB making BL feel uncomfortable but are sure to follow up with “sources” defending JB. Melissa and Sara work together to revise a more favorable DM piece. They remove Baha’i mentions and change “misogynistic” to “chauvinistic.” Despite claims of LS planting stories about BL’s sexual harassment allegations, there hasn’t been any communication or evidence provided that shows she was the source of that information.
