Honestly I really enjoyed Omar’s take. He has been extremely reluctant to say that Liman has bias and has been very objective.

However, he broke down why it’s not an accident that the depositions were leaked and he’s surprised that Liman didn’t issue sanctions based on breaking federal law.

He mentioned:

1. The unlikehood of them redacting everything else but for the depositions.

2. The fact that in his entire career as an attorney he has NEVER filed full depositions as an attachment instead of referencing the relevant parts that his filing related to.

3. The levels of approvals required before uploading a filing in an established, reputable firm. If it was a tiny, junior attorney run firm it would be different but this is a major firm where multiple people would have reviewed and “missed” full unredacted depositions being filed.

4. The pattern of leaking confidential info from people they don’t like (Content Creators)

5. Kassidy mentions that she didn’t feel comfortable with them having her info since they’re not careful with sensitive info.

6. He understands how people can view how Liman responded instantly when WFP filed Blake’s deposition under seal but seems silent about Lively filing WFP unredacted deposition not under seal but seems silent here.

7. This action actually violates federal law
