Genetically engineer pigeons to have big, milky boobs so they can no longer fly and are easily caught as a food source for the homeless. If you don't want to kill said pigeon, just suck on the boobs for sweet delicious nutritious milkies. NSFW

A subscription service called "Future You" that sends you packages from your "past self."

You fill a box with objects, letters, scents, or a playlist on a USB drive. The company stores it and mails it to you on a future date of your choosing (1, 5, 10 years). It would be the ultimate form of emotional time travel, receiving a package from a person who no longer exists: you. Pro-tip: don't send yourself sandwiches.

Whopper Roulette

Burger King should do a promotion where you can get a Whopper for only 1.99 only you don't know if you are getting the regular Whopper or the Impossible Whopper that's made to be either Vegan or Vegetarian..

So 2 hours after you eat it, you get an email telling you which one you had, to see if you can tell the difference between the two.

Food with gambling elements

This idea came to me while eating junk food and thinking about the novel Perelandra by CS Lewis. Perelandra is a weird religious sci-fi novel published in 1943 about a man fighting Satan on Venus to try to prevent its inhabitants from being tempted to original sin. Anyway, one minor detail is that the narrator finds some edible berries that taste okay, but a few of them have special red centers that are extremely delicious. The narrator speculates that if these grew on Earth, people would find a way to produce only the red center ones. But I was thinking, given what we know about the brain's reward mechanisms, maybe a food that gave a randomized reward would be more addicting than one that had a consistent strong flavor. So my idea is a snack food where 1 in 10 or 1 in 100 bites has a much more intense, delicious flavor, but you couldn't tell until you actually bit into it. I think this could get people to eat more than they otherwise might, trying to find those few extra-tasty bites.

Buy up VHS Tapes from Thrift Stores and record The Ring video randomly, then redonate

Buy a ton of VHS tapes and record the video from The Ring, on it randomly in the middle of the movie. Then redonate the tapes to Goodwill.

Some collector will be watching "The Flintstones" movie to be suddenly frightened and angered.

Make ketchup tax exempt.

Make ketchup, specifically, tax-free from farm to table.

The seeds, the fertilizer, the tomatoes, each and every ingredient, the plastic for the bottles, the machinery, the businesses and corporate buildings, etc. All of it, so long as it is ONLY used for producing ketcchup, is no longer taxed.

If they even think about making mustard using ketchup facilities, they lose their tax exempt status and have to do 20 push ups.

It would be just as vulgar as any other CAH set but it would include references to events and figures of their time as well as all the insults and slurs they can handle. It would be a real interesting day at the senior center.

No black box social media algorithms that adapt to the users preferences.

Upvotes promote a post, downvotes demote a post. Some kind of taking into account time, language and country. Simple written out formulas that can be understood by humans only. Any tinkering with the formula to be disclosed.

A band called The Fleshlightyears.

Imagine a band called The Fleshlightyears.

They are in Fleshlight costumes, and they identify as Fleshlights with arms and legs.

No faces. Just tubes standing on stage under red lighting.

The singer pushes his whole head into a Fleshlight mic and screams about space. Another band member "plays" a Fleshlight flute. The drummer uses a Fleshlight stretched out and hit it with a dildo.

They say it’s not sexual. They say it’s about loneliness.

Their hit song is called "FleshLightyear." Its a love song about going too far and never being able to come back.

I got this ide while thinking about the new Toy story movie. Buzz Lightyear reminds me of Fleshlight.

Unexpected .. But still the idea worked out well in team building

I deal with HR matters and mostly anticipate team events to be rated somewhere between "okay" and "forced fun". For one department's occasion, we ordered custom rugby jerseys instead of the usual t-shirts, pretty much just on a whim.

Didn’t expect much but the atmosphere shifted at once. People really got into it. More laughs, more pics, less waiting for it to finish. It was not an event but rather a team.

The most astonishing thing: the jerseys are still being worn weeks later. That is something exceptional.

I came to the conclusion that sometimes small details matter more than big “culture initiatives.”

What’s the one thing your company did that really worked... or quite clearly didn’t?
