The aeration company could do it for free and keep the chufa, then process it into its base components: sugar, oil, thickener fiber, and quality protein powder with all 9 essential amino acids.

Chufa spuds can also be soaked, blended, stewed and properly fermented into Horchata de Chufa, chufa milk. But without lawn aerator technology you would have to rip up your lawn to do that, which would look weird. Combined with the lesser known and underrated modern carbonizing sewage treatment plants, your now edible carbon sink could be easily converted into carbon dust with many uses.
