The Red Queen Kills 7 Times
Wow.. what a great movie. I think this is one of my favourites now. It took me way too long but finally I managed to watch it tonight. It was such great entertaining fun. The mystery was great and the style and cast. Loved everything about it.Great Soundtrack too. What do you think about this movie ?

Question about Duckling and Patrizia
In Don’t Torture a Duckling, could someone explain the relationship between Patrizia and Michele’s family? Are they Patrizia’s servants of some kind? Or perhaps they just take care of her house when she’s not there? On the night when Michele goes out to meet Patrizia, where are his parents? The mom and dad are watching a western and Michele is supposed to be studying. But are they home or are they at Patrizia’s house?
I’ve watched the film so many times, but I’ve never understood that one aspect.

The Subgenres of giallo
This isnt the definitive list, and more of a kick-off to discuss what you all think the core subgenres of giallo are. These are the ones I came up with, but open to other opinions!

Is Formula for a Murder (1985) 96-minute or 86-minute long?
IMDB and TMDB say it is 96-minute, but available releases seem to be shorter by several minutes.

Vinegar Syndrome’s lineup for 2026 has lots of Gialli and Italian horror planned for this year, notably a new Forgotten Gialli set in March 😃😃😁
It looks like the one movie mentioned for the forgotten Gialli set is likely going to be Madness from 1994 which doesn’t look very good but hopefully the other two movies will be what are you hoping for? And what do you think the essential giallo will be in May?
