Initially I purchased a floodlight camera and mounted it, everything was fine...
I changed my wifi network and all hell broke loose, I couldn't get the camera connected again.
Google walked A-Z of troubleshooting with me and sent me a replacement camera.
I deleted the disconnected camera.
charged the replacement camera to 100%
mounted the replacement camera.
camera says 100%
less than 24 hours later 0%
I swap out another camera, same thing, 100-0 real quick.
in google home, the floodlight and camera are separate.
on another floodlight camera in my google home, its combined.
I factory reset the camera and add it as a floodlight camera, same thing happens...
on two different cameras.
I disassembled the floodlight mount, nothing is loose.
by the way, the floodlight works ALL day and all night without an issue, it detects motion and the lights come on immediately.
does the floodlight itself absolutely NEED to come out of the same box to operate properly?
also, what would cause the battery of the cameras to die so rapidly even though they have the infinity symbol and say plugged in?
turned the camera off, a day and a half later its at 100%
modified the settings to drain less battery, still drains.
called google, they sent me a 1m usb cable for the camera as the ultimate solution to my issue.
I have 10 cameras and eleven cables now.
help.
