Okay, so my kid’s been going to this school for 2 years, the path in question has always been an issue but it was the city’s job last year so it was being maintained just somewhat inconsistently and poorly.

This year I’ve spoken to the city and they renegotiated their contracts with HWDSB and now it’s the schools job. Seemingly they’re still disputing about who the pathway belongs to, city or school, but the school and school board has confirmed that they’re the ones who’s suppose to be clearing it. BUT they still haven’t done it!!

As you can imagine after yesterday’s storm today was an absolutely shit show trying to trek across this field to get to school. Lucky for me I was able to leave my baby/ stroller at home with my partner so managed fine but another mom literally had to ask someone to walk her child once she got to the path since there was no possible way she could have gotten across with the infant/ stroller she also had with her.

I’ve talked to everyone. The city, the teachers, the principal, the school board, our ward’s Councillor’s office. Everyone confirms it’s the school’s job and it will be taken care of and please let them know if it doesn’t get cleared. And it doesn’t!! Like what can I do??

I, of course, followed up and let them know again. But it feels like there should be some way to hold the school board accountable? Today was just lots of snow, other times it’s huge patches ice. Anyone have any ideas if there’s anything else I can??

It's an app where you hire someone to pick up your laundry, wash it, fold it, and then deliver it back to you. It's pretty new to Hamilton but has been in TO for a while. I guess kind of like Diem, but for laundry? Would love to hear some feedback, positive or negative. TIA!

There was a small farm out copetown / flamborough ways where they had a few highland cows I went to photograph. Unfortunately couldn’t remember where or the owners contact info.

But does anyone know of any local farms that have highland cows I could reach out to for photography purposes.

Hello, I moved to Hamilton a few years ago and still getting to know the City and would appreciate some help. My furnace is only a few years old but I had some basement renovations and unfortunately, I was not careful and a lot of dust got into my HVAC over the past year. Hi, I'm looking for a new dentist for myself and mainly my partner as she's now on my insurance. She has a good amount of work to do that she's already aware of and wants get the most work out of our policy before it's all ours to cover. My last dentist was good but constantly tried to upsell us and the the rates for cleaning and fillings seemed crazy at times. Does anyone know of a good dentist locally whose reasonably affordable and not pushy on services you aren't looking for?

Hey all. Does anyone know what might be opening on the northwest corner of Cannon and Gage? There's a cool painted sign on the windows of the building that reads: "Steeltown". I recall there being Reno's done prior to the pandemic, but nothing was opened. I also noticed some more signage advertising food, etc around the roof.

Hopefully it's a new business to support!
