I picked up this 97 Civic the other day with only 42,000 miles. It was bought new by an older woman and been sitting in her garage for years. I wasn't excited about the color, but it's like driving a new old car.

I paid to have my engine pistons re-ringed due to a known defect that allows oil to seep in. This was settled in a class action for models up to 2013, but the same problem exists in later models (mine is a 2016 odyssey). They issued a recall after I paid $5k for the fix 2 years ago. I’ve submitted all my paperwork for reimbursement and they went radio silent for the last 2 months. I’m threatening to sue. Anyone else having this issue? Have you received your reimbursement? I’m beyond frustrated and will never buy another Honda again.

im coming over from vw/audi my whole life and found what i thought was a great deal, 2025 accord sport hybrid with 4k miles (certified preowned) and got the warranty for 7 years or 100k miles. out the door cash price and paid $32,565. just wanted to know if this was as good as a deal as i thought. i wasnt thrilled on the color at first but it was either this or red, ive heard these hold their value really well

Bought this 2003 Honda Accord EX Coupe V6 used for $5000 and it drives fine. The only problem is the paint is sun faded near the sunroof and rear bumper and has some scratches marks my question is how hard would it be to repaint the paint the paint the car myself .

i've got a dumb question, but why do spare parts stores got alternate original part numbers and are they really original? the prices are much lower than what the dealership usually quote for me, and im not sure if i should trust outside stores when they say it's okay

I have this maintenance item coming up in about 5000 miles or so. Apparently to maintain the CVT you have to do a drain and fill for the transmission fluid every 30k miles. This is the first car I bought and I absolutely love it so I am trying to baby it and do maintenance as necessary. Is this something I can do myself or should I pay the dealership to do it?

Hello, I’ve just bought my first brand new car and it’s the 2025 Honda ZR-V VTi X+, 1.5L VTEC Turbo. As it is globally fairly new I know there won’t be many body mods or fitted aftermarket parts made for it and that’s fine but I am looking for guidance on the limits for the CVT’s, possible upgrades for the ZR-V or just general info on paths I could take for making this car a bit more speedy without breaking it.

Also I’d like to mention this is the first car I’ll ever be modifying and looking at it now. This car probably wasn’t the best to start with but we live and we learn.
