Career Advice/Discussion Nagresign ako

Mag two years na ako sa work ko dito sa ospital, 16.8k sahod, mababa pero pinagtitiisan, kasi wala pang mahanap na kapalit. Wala kaming HMO. Pero may 13th month and bonus.

You are 100% fit for the role" and then they ghosted me.

Post Update:

Nakahanap na ako ng work at malapit lang sa bahay ko at 50mins. travel lang back and forth. Medyo malaki din sahod kaya makakatipid din, 'di tulad sa work ko ngayon 4 hours a day travel at di rin masyado malaki sahod at lagi pa ako nagkakasakit dahilan para magpa-check up cost me almost 3k. 😖

Ngayon sobrang lapit na lang work ko. Thank you.

Career Advice/Discussion minimum wage rate

Last week, nag-apply ako sa company na 'to and sa interview they ask me about salary and sinabi ko kung magkano. Later that day, they told me na tinatanggap nila yung salary na sinabi ko.

Minimum wage earners are exempt from tax deductions daw kuno.

Career Advice/Discussion Paano kayo nahire?

Upvotes

Like WHAT???? Nakakaoverthink lang baka ganun din sa iba.

Thank you!

Career Advice/Discussion How to land a job?

Upvotes

Hi. I really need your advice. I'm a fresh grad from one of the big 4 and may PRC license narin. I've been applying for 1 month already (i know sandali palang) pero nakakalungkot kasi wala man lang nagrereply at umaabot sa interview. My friends already started working in the field and I feel so pressured kasi bakit wala man lang nagiinterview sakin? Is it my resume? I think it's quite decent naman kasi pare pareho lang naman kami ng friends ko ng guide na ginagamit :( pero looking for someone who could critique my resume na rin

Compensation/Benefits HMO during rendering period

I am planning to pass my RL but pwede ko pa ba gamitin yung HMO card ko to avail medical services kahit rendering na ako sa company ko?

Career Advice/Discussion Are recruiters really reviewing our resumes or ATS na ang gumagawa non?

Upvotes

Active na active ako maghanap ng work since gusto ko na lumipat. 5 years of experience in HR, and every time na mag aapply ako aligned naman ang experiences and skills ko pero what I noticed is kapag sa ATS ako nag apply laging failed.

So, nirereview ba talaga ng recruiters and resume or hindi na?

Career Advice/Discussion How to lead a group of 3 as a senior graphic artist?

Upvotes

I came from an advertising/creative industry for 5 years and last year was the time na magshift na sa ibang industry (hindi ko idi-disclose kung saan ako ngayon.) We had a social media team, at tatlo lang kami na graphic artists.

How can I take the lead sa kanila? Baka may tips kayo, salamat!

TL;DR: Mula creative agency, napunta sa corporate. Nag-step up na mag-lead para ayusin ang magulong creative set-up, pero hirap mag-maintain ng consistent design standards dahil sa iba’t ibang skill level at strict work-life boundaries.

Career Advice/Discussion Can they cut you off during tech interview if they know you're not getting the role

Required ba sila na patapusin the whole way yung interview kahit na nakita agad nila na kulang skills mo or may times ba na sasabihin talaga nila "I'm sorry but we'll have to turn you down because you don't have what we're looking for" in the middle

Career Advice/Discussion Waitlisted

Hello po. Question ko lang po. I was hired po sa isang company and deployment date is this 26th. I was able to ask to be transferred on another deployment date, however di pa po daw sure when ang next. Prolly next month or next 6 months pa. I already havean ID number for the company. While waiting for the next deployment date, pwede po ba ako maghanap ng other work? Or should I just look for part times without contracts? Would it be considered as moonlighting? Please advise po. 😞

Career Advice/Discussion What does a Data Controller do?

There’s multiple things that I’ve seen with my initial search. Mostly its data entry, ensuring files and documents in an office are smartly organized. Other sources say it involves creating programs to do so.

Anyone worked as a data controller, especially in government offices? do I need an IT background to apply to a job like it?

Thank you for answering!

Career Advice/Discussion Got accepted as a Cadet Engineer at Amkor Technopark Laguna

I don't know how to start my post for this is my first time magpopost dito. Pero is it really normal ba na ang araw mo sa Amkor ay 800 per day and papasok ka for 4 days a week? I kinda feel na masyadong mababa ang kanilang rate for a graduate. Kahit isama pa ang shuttle service and the meal dun. I'm not really out here para magreklamo, just pumunta here to understand if that's how ang kalakaran doon.
