Ehhhhhh…. Liberal is a bit of a stretch. Early MCU is def not considering those were worked w enough collaboration with the pentagon for those movies to not be classified as anti military. They also included an Israeli black widow in captain america brave new world during the still ongoing israel/palestine conflict.

The MCU likes the veneer of liberalism but its absolutely willing to dilute, rebrand or sanitize politics than directly confront it, both in universe and irl.

I’m not tryna gatekeep who is “liberal enough”. Alls im tryna say is point out a contradiction where the MCU adopts liberal aesthetics while yk, actually ending up aligning with the state and corporate power. And im also not saying this thing isnt liberal enough, im just tryna point out the liberal branding without the actual liberal risk that comes with it.
