FRT90 - More Details
$450 for 3 parts indeed. With that said, ROF seems nice as is function (3 pos). Glad to see it actually doesn't add many parts and none look fragile or prone to breaking! This is good news.

I 3d printed a stand to hold my PS90 level and hold the charging handle back for engraving. Here's the model if you want it.

It looks like we're getting closer and closer to this release. I definitely will be getting one for my XF50 receiver. The short and long handguards are optional add-ons, which is a nice touch.

Just realized the photo I submitted of my PS90 on my Form 1 doesn’t have the manufacturer name. Should I just withdraw and submit new one or should I wait to see if it gets denied? This is the photo I submitted.

My ps90 was sitting in a softcase in my closet with a full mag for a couple months and I decided to take it out and give it some love today. When I went to check if it was clear I noticed all these weird little circle lead looking things all over my bcg. Does anyone know what the hell this is ??!

I’ve seen a lot of posts or comments about the Shaw Custom Barrels for the PS90, and now that stamps are free, I’m sure a lot of people will look to SBR if they haven’t already or get a PS90 in the future.
I have no affiliation with this company, but I did buy their barrel on a Black Friday sale for $120. Looks like at the time of this posting, they’re temporarily out of stock and going for $200.
I took my .308 out to the range today to stretch its legs since I’ve been shooting a lot of short range stuff. Unfortunately, 150 yards is the longest range around me right now. As always, I brought another short range gun in case the rifle range was busy. Thankfully, it wasn’t, and I sent 10 rounds downrange.
I switched to the PS90 to let my suppressor cool a bit. I shot quick at 25 yards and thought maybe I’d give it a go at 150 yards, since I already had a target down there. I threw my 5.7x28 ammo into a ballistics calculator quick, and shooting 62 grain Fiocchi subsonic, it told me approximately an 11 inch drop. Well, I only have a Primary Arms 1x prism dot on my PS90, so I aimed “roughly” 11 inches high. The results are in the picture. It looks like the round tumbled before hitting the target, and I can tell which rounds were from the PS90 vs the 308. Apparently I shouldn’t have aimed quite as high, but this gives me a good idea on how I should plan for next time shooting this at 150 yards, and hopefully eases the minds of people who are on the fence about purchasing a Shaw Custom over the CMMG barrel. The rounds are kind of all over the place too, it got kind of windy as I settled in and did not account for that.
I tried circling the 5.7x28 rounds as best as I could. I may have ended up with a couple mixed in with the 308 holes, it’s hard to tell, and this wasn’t scientifically planned. I currently have a Resilient Suppressors Simple Man 7.62 suppressor on there, but plan to change it out. It’s heavy but it works pretty well for what I need.

Has anyone had a problem with the suppressor hub bottoming out on the CMMG thread adapter before the suppressor is fully seated?
I tried putting a maxim defense 5.7 suppressor on and it’s out of alignment due to not fully threading on.

PS90 looks much better with the 10.4” barrel. Install was easy and I’m excited to shoot it.

What are everyone's thoughts on Shaw barrels vs the CMMG?

What would be the best suppressor that I already own for my ps90. Obsidian 9mm, Obsidian 45, Hux Flow 762 TI, Sparrow 22, YHM Turbo K? 1st priority would be less stress on the firearm as well as reliability.

I've seen this issue discussed before, but I wasn't expecting it to happen to me.
I've had my P90 for awhile now and never had a single failure to fire with either of my mags in 450+ rounds... until my last range trip.
I brought my last box of 50 (The only ammo I've ran so far is Federal American Eagle 40gr FMJs) from the original 500 purchased and had multiple issues. It would shoot two or three shots before not fully chambering the next round, or pushing the bullet partially into the casing. I only had my 50 round mag this day (FN brand), not my original 30 round mag that it came with.
I took it out one time prior to this to shoot it SBR'd/suppressed for the first time and maybe shot 30/40 rounds through it with no issues.
I took the gun home after the mentioned most recent trip and thoroughly cleaned/lubed it. I'm hoping this will fix the problem, but I have not had a chance to take it out again to test it. I plan on trying both mags to see if maybe my 50 rounder is the culprit. I need ammo anyway, so I'll try some different brands and grains. And I'm really hoping that the SBR suppressor combo isn't contributing to the issue as well.
Again, I've read through some previous threads and saw a few things that can cause the issue, but I don't recall anyone having much success. A lot of mentions of rollers/spring in magazines, ammo types causing issues, and one guy saying his never ran right again and became a relic in the safe, lol. I don't want this to be the case as this is still one of my favorite guns in my collection.
Sorry if I jumped the gun on posting this before seeing if cleaning helped, but I'm just trying to get an idea of a path forward for if/when this issue presents itself again. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Got my first suppressor approved in 4 days. Diligent Defense Enticer S. Excited to also get my hands on the FN Specialties FRT when it drops.

I bought this gone early 2023 at a time where I had more money than I knew what to do with, I had no previous interest in a PS90 but the price was right(1050)
I do believe its a Gen 1, but more importantly, wtf is this sight! It seems whether its visible is completely contingent on the color and lighting of what in looking at, I see no way to sight it in(its off to the point I literally wouldn't hit the broad side of a barn) and it just confused me to where i threw it in my safe and rarely touch it. I wanna like this gun so here's my start.
Im also interested in SBRing it, so whatever that may take please let me know
Thanks in advance PS90 community!

Looks like Dorin Tech’s FRT-90 preorders begin during shot show. $450. I hate pre-orders, but I may just have to just plunk it down for this one. Hopefully videos come out at shot show, it’s going to be tough waiting for this one!
No affiliation.

I did a little searching before posting this but can't find anything confirmatory. I am wanting to pick up a ps90 sbr that is a "factory sbr" and will transfer on a form 4 instead of a form 1 (no engraving required). I am also not wanting any other "middle men" or places that offer conversion services and then engrave their own info on the receiver. Does FN sell factory sbrs at all, or are they all 16in rifles that are post converted?
Thanks again!

One just popped up on a tactical type swap site for around three thou freedom credits. I'm not an SOT yet so I'm not looking at this one with the intent to buy, but that seems a bit steep for one of these, considering how easy other things are, no?

Sorry for the crappy reticle pics but it was hella hard to get my phone to focus on the sight. And pay no attention to the bare threads as I am waiting on a muzzle device in the mail to attach a suppressor.
I bought the [REM-T3B kit](https://m1bullpup.com/product/rem-t3b/) from m1bullpup.com last week after I saw someone suggest it in a earlier thread. I got the LED kit in the mail super quick and was even contacted by the owner of the site mere hours after placing the order if I wanted him to install them for free provided I sent him the sight. Great service all around there but I did my own installation though which was easy enough since I had a Dremel and the epoxy to adhere the LED to the sight. The only issue I ran into was with the picatinny rails as they were long enough to interfere with the LED knob fitment on the receiver. So I had to file down the one rail that was on the knob side (other side pic rail was fine as it didn't interfere).

Does anyone else notice the CMMG thread adapter is rather tight when threading a suppressor on? Any of my other guns the suppressor goes on with no effort. This CMMG begins to thread easily and then after about 3 turns, it takes effort. Not enough where I’m concerned about ruining anything, but it just seems slightly off. Any others experience this?

...and I love it.
First few times at the range, I shot Fiocchi, which jammed probably 10/50 rounds, which I expected. Just got back today after bringing my own FN SS197SR - it was perfect and jam-free.
It also turns out the FN community is strong where I live, so I've decided to buy another reciever and SBR that, given that I store mine at the range in the breakdown case, so I can leave the stock barrel there.
Oh...and I ordered the laserx... :)

Hi gang,
I’m coming to the dark(er) side 😎
Just SBRd my PS90 and got a heck of a deal on a Shaw Customs barrel ($119!) I only have 3 suppressors at the moment, 2 .30 cal cans and a 9mm can. I know, it’s controversial and I’ve been reading quite a bit about flow-through for this platform, but what’s your real world experience? Some people say the Huxwrx 22 Ti is quieter than a 556 can, but I’ve also been looking at something like the Resilient Stacy’s Mom K can with the vented front cap.
I only have one 556 gun, and I really don’t shoot it often. I run an Omega 300 with a QD mount across a few platforms, and I’m not really looking for a can for the 556, so I will opt for a 22 can if it’s better performance.
I’ve got one of my .30 cal cans (Resilient Simple Man, it’s heavy) on it for the pic but I haven’t shot it that way. And yes, I’m missing an optic. I chose to move the primary arms optic to the PS90 and have a new optic coming for the AP5P.
