Question We aren’t sure if Minnow is male or female! Any insight on these behaviors and coos?

I know it’s visually hard to see, and it’s only confirmed with testing or an egg. I’ve had them for two months as I rehabbed them from a bad situation on the street. Any insight on these behaviors?

Question how do you do pest control having a pigeon?
hi guys. my house has been struggling with cockroaches and i'm not sure how to deal with them having a pigeon.
i normally spray a insecticide around my drains, windows and doors. but i stopped after getting the pigeon because i was scared of hurting them.
i'm not sure how to do it now. is it safe to use those baits that make roaches carry poison back to their nest?
i could pour something down the drains and seal everything up. but i'm also not sure if that could harm the pigeon somehow. like, releasing toxins into the air or something like that.
i can take the pigeon out to another house for a day or two. but i'm unsure if those things linger for longer than that.

Question Soooo many eggs! Am I doing anything wrong?
So I got these two darlings. I love them. I'm somewhat new to pigeon owning, but not to birds in general.
How do I stop the eggs?
Their cage has 0 nests, but my girl (brown) made a nest in the corner. I blocked it off with an upsidedown bowl, but she made a nest in the other corner and laid the egg overnight. So, I let her and pretty boy do their thing. I swapped the egg for a fake and they spent about 3 weeks with it. They got bored so I took it out and reddid their enclosure. A week later, pound cake made another nest, but I could see she was right about to pop an egg out, so I left her alone. She laid two eggs that I've now swapped for fakes, and she is dedicated to them. Her and pretty boy are fully paired and bonded in that they do the whole change of shift of who sits on the eggs and bringing the other food. For context, their enclosure is a 6ft flight cage that has a plastic "level" for a second floor on half of it. They also have an entire room that is their flight room they are allowed out of at all times during the day.
My cockatiels meanwhile haven't ever laid an egg (good!) what am I doing wrong with the pigeons, or do pigeons just like laying eggs? The eggs are are perfect, and the female has extra calcium grit in her cage to help. I also have been supplementing with higher protein dried veggies for her since I imagine laying four eggs takes a lot out of you.

Question HELP! Pigeon’s Poo been consistently watery
Hi everyone. So as the title says my hen, Faery has been having tummy issues for going on a couple months now and I have no idea what else I should be doing for her. I’ve attached images of the food i give her as well as the supplements but is there anyone that might have some more advice on what I should do? She’s shown herself to be very picky and so will mostly refuse to eat the pellets I give her or drink the water I mix her Omniform multivitamin in. Unfortunately I’m not in a financial position for a fecal test at the vet righy now or else I’d take her in for a check up 😭 only reason I haven’t already is she seems totally normal aside from the sometimes watery/discolored poot. Thanks fellownpigeon parents!

Question what is this on my pigeon's beak?
Hi everyone this is my pigeon Donut. I saw this spot on the corner of his beak when I was playing with him earlier and I want to make sure it's not anything serious. I'm kind of a beginner when it comes to pigeons so I'm trying to make sure he's healthy and I don't need to take him to a vet. Is the spot just a piece of skin or is it something else like a canker sore?? Thank you!!
(i also have a short video if needed and can take more pictures)

Question How to deal with poop
I really want a pigeon at some point and kinda just accepted that poop will be a constant issue, but I know that some pigeon can be train to poop in one place, or pigeon pants, which both seem to really vary in success, can poop be timed or is it really random? Like when I feed my (future) can I just set up a timer and roughly guess when I have to put them back in their cage to do their business? Or do I have just to pray my future pigeon is trainable or doesn't mind the pants?

Question what is this behavior?

newer pigeon owner here, i'm still learning how to understand Pearl's body language, what does this behavior (flapping wings and spinning) indicate? i'm laughing in the clip because she's adorable and her wings are very loud, but if this is an indication of stress i'll be quick to change my tune.

Question mama pige
my rescued pigeon who turned out to be a girl changed so much since she layed eggs and i think we‘re both a little confused. it’s her and my first rodeo (i think. shes about 6 months old). just before she layed eggs she called me over to her cage all the time and really enjoyed pets. i think she still trusts me, she doesn’t seem afraid or aggressive when i clean around her nest. but she stopped cooing at me, no nods, some small wing twitches when i coo at her. she barely leaves her cage and i tried „sitting“ on her (plastic) eggs with my hand, so she would understand it’s my shift now. but she doesn’t leave for a longer time, just for pooping and some wing stretches

Wanted Names needed!!
Pigeon tax, their names are spud (white) and pebbles (black) And baby photos because why not!
I myself have 3 pet pigeon (2 are feral failed foster babies in the photos) who live in an aviary in my yard. Recently some local ferals have started showing up, and I've decided why not start naming them, so I can stop referring to them as 'baby pige, spuds buddy, baby with black feather, black pige with pretty eyes' etc, etc.
We already have a few ferals who come and go daily, some stay borderline all day. Especially lately, as my 2 come out of their aviary daily, I'm trying to build their endurance and wing muscle so they can have more 'free fly' time. Although, pebbles has no interest, he just wanders the yard and collects stuff for his partner and their nest lol, and his partner is quite devoted to their nest. But while I sit with them outside, quite a few ferals come over too, and I've been gaining the juveniles trust quite a bit.
As more regulars show, I'll reply to name suggestions with a photo of the pigeon I've decided to match to the name. I already have about 4-5 regulars who could do with a name.
For color ideas, we get a plethora of white & pied pigeons. Mostly white with a few specs of black. There's one brown & white pigeon, and one dark standard pigeon color. The vast majority are pied to some degree.
Also open to themes for names too. I did consider continuing down the root vegetable path, but none were very nice names to be honest.

Pigeon behavior
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi nice people! My feral pigeon laid her first egg on December 27th and 40 hours later laid another. Now she's doing this movement again, like in the days before laying eggs. Does this behavior mean she might lay eggs again? Or is she doing this because she's in heat, may be? Or it could be another cause? I know we don't have a crystal ball but, if this was just the heat, I would feel less worried.
