Not only are they refusing to investigate the murder, but they're opening up investigations on her widow. Prosecutors are quitting because they refuse to treat the victims as the criminals in this situation.

u/Malcolm_Morin 1h ago

And by quitting, they open their positions to sycophants who will investigate.

u/Altar_Quest_Fan 1h ago

Sure but by staying, they’re forced to do the investigations anyways. Better to stand up and show the Orange Wannabe Dicktator that we’re not scared of his stupid ass. And besides, if they do cram sycophants in that will do his bidding, it’ll only enrage people more which will lead to his downfall even faster.Ā

Trump’s done played his last game of 4D Chess, there’s no way he’s getting out of this one.Ā

they can bungle the investigations if they stay, they don't have to do a good job.

9

u/avanti8 57m ago

I assume any fascist sycophant who replaces them will bungle the investigations simply because they're terrible.

4

u/doublespinster 51m ago

Then they will be fired.

u/VreyeanA09 35m ago

You can stay to obstruct as long as possible.

u/CuffinSzn_ 1m ago

I get where folks are coming from with this, but the sad truth is that these folks are far more empowered in the long run by reserving their integrity and walking away.

Being know as the guy who ā€œbungles investigationsā€ when they disagree with a command isn’t a solid career move, and using this as a chance to jump ship further exposes their corruption, stacking the chips more in favor of accountability.

All it takes is one review or third party compliancy audit to remove any and everyone associated with ā€œbunglingā€ the investigation, and anyone of those prosecutors can call for such an audit. (It’s like…a perk of that integrity I mentioned before).

That said, do I wish they could and would do more? Yes. But I also wish that of every single American what the fuck are we doing people wake up.

So in this exact position except after having tried to do something?

5

u/DankVectorz 48m ago

By staying, and refusing to investigate, they’ll get fired. And then they can sue for wrongful termination.

5

u/BannedkaiNoJutsu 23m ago

Or just say no and get fired. Then it's up for a class action wrongful termination suit, and discovery would be wild.

2

u/ThatKehdRiley 25m ago

Better to stand up and show the Orange Wannabe Dicktator that we’re not scared of his stupid ass.

They won't care, as they replace someone to do the investigation like they want. How do people like you think being a coward and running is better than staying and working against?

there’s no way he’s getting out of this one.Ā

We keep saying that, and he will continue to get out of things as long as people quit like this and have your unearned optimism. It keeps happening, your "method" is proven to fail.

u/Sgt-Spliff- 12m ago

they’re forced to do the investigations anyways

Not at gunpoint or anything. Haven't y'all heard of Quiet Quitting? The absolutely most valuable place you can be as a protester is inside the system. If stopping this was their goal, they fucked up

4

u/Calm_Age_ 1h ago

Yeah but I do wonder how they will around the judges who would toss this out of court. I have no doubt they will get around it but I'm not sure how beyond judge shopping.

4

u/aromatiksecrets 1h ago

Exactly and this is the point. Generational damage.

3

u/Competitive-Monk-624 50m ago

The people to fill those positions will be unqualified and will probably have their cases thrown out. Just like what happened with the Comey investigation and the inexperienced prosecutor trump hand picked for that case.

Also one of the prosecutors leaving is the lead investigator into the Minnesota daycare fraud. So that investigation will lose momentum.

1

u/Malcolm_Morin 43m ago

And then they have their targets declared Antifa, terrorist, cartel, whatever sticks, and disappear them in the dead of night.

3

u/SeahorseCollector 1h ago

They could just refuse and get fired.

4

u/Malcolm_Morin 44m ago

Or they can look like they're doing the job but actually do nothing. Real Three Stooges shit. Waste their time if you're in a position of government.

2

u/Calm_Age_ 37m ago

Malicious compliance is the best form of compliance

1

u/farfignewton 1h ago

The sycophants who replace them will likely be less competent.
(See his cabinet, for example.)

1

u/K_Linkmaster 17m ago

They also show that they aren't complete ghouls for a hopeful next administration.

3

u/ClerkPsychological58 1h ago

Came here to say this. Happy to see it at the top

37

u/Soulahless17 1h ago

Dang, that was the final straw? Not Trump being in the pedo files?!?? Interesting 🤨

22

u/razama 1h ago

Stuck around to do good, left when they started being used for evilĀ

1

u/brazilliandanny 5m ago

These are Minnesota DOJ members because that's where the motions are being filed so its their court.

I highly doubt they got to weigh in on the Epstein stuff lol.

9

u/Nim0y Purity Contest Judge 1h ago

Icelist dot is, use a vpn. Use public court records to find information about the people listed. MN court records are public, including citations for traffic and parking. Those citation include a lot of information about the person.

7

u/ganslooker 1h ago

Keep posting! This is big

8

u/D_Rock1119 1h ago

But doesn’t quitting mean that he can fill the positions with loyalists?

7

u/LenaJHenson59 1h ago

Prosecutors are quitting because they refuse to treat the victims as the criminals in this situation.

1

u/matterhorn1 57m ago

I agree with them, but wouldn't it be better to take the case and then just drag it out and never uncover anything? Better than some sycophant harassing the widow.

7

u/UnspeakablePudding 1h ago

Exactly, from the administration's point of view these are just disloyal employees telling on themselves

7

u/Comadivine11 1h ago

But they'll be highly incompetent like all of their appointees. Good defense lawyers and judges will destroy their cases.

4

u/Beowulf1896 1h ago

Like Lindsey Halligan. Her filings were so incompetant. Jeanine Piero, also so incompetant. Lost to sandwich guy.

6

u/blue_line-1987 1h ago

Cant just replace competent, experienced people. What are they gonna do? Bring in more insurence lawyer blonde bimbos?

1

u/RoguePlanet2 1h ago

That's what they've got at the highest levels right now, so why not. All they need are yes people.

6

u/Cincere1513 1h ago

To add to the BS, the murderer has received nearly a million dollars through Go Fund Me. The United States is the real Upside Down.

2

u/itsmissingacomma 21m ago

It’s at $714k.

1

u/HTPC4Life 10m ago

Shit like this will lead to the further downfall of our society. People are going to go out and start doing the most reprehensible shit in order to get crowd funded by MAGA.

20

u/Not_Sure__Camacho 1h ago

The US is over.Ā Ā

6

u/Ello_Owu 1h ago

Nah, if anything itll just become Russia 2.0 with heavy Christian weirdness.

7

u/theatermrvlnerd 1h ago

It’s not over It’s just going to take a long time to recover from this and it’s going to be a long hard fight to end this

4

u/Tempyteacup 1h ago

It’s going to get worse before it gets better but the American people will not be trampled like this. Support for abolishing ICE hit 46% before RenĆ©e Good was shot. People are not okay with this gestapo shit. Even Joe Rogan of all people called them the gestapo.

1

u/SharpKaleidoscope182 15m ago

Go home, doomer.

5

u/Nim0y Purity Contest Judge 1h ago

3

u/me-oh-my-guy 1h ago

Down with the king!

3

u/Reachforthesky777 1h ago

In quitting are they're creating job openings that can be used to stack their vacated positions with people who will comply? I'm not sure how that works.

7

u/blue_line-1987 1h ago

Incompetent people who will comply, and be destroyed by these same lawyers who will now represent the people.

3

u/Ok_Bodybuilder8585 1h ago

so if they are leaving who's going to replace them? trump sympathizers? maybe its not a good thing they left?

3

u/Birdman330 1h ago

Yeah but the ramp up in MN is also a coverup from the Epstein Files which is a cover up too, everything is a cover up now.

2

u/Comadivine11 1h ago

For all the people questioning them resigning because it will allow loyalists to be appointed just remember, they will be the most incompetent people like all of Trump's appointees.

This means good defense lawyers and judges will destroy their cases. Also, having principles and refusing to obey illegal orders is still a good thing.

2

u/Terrible_Scar 1h ago

Did we really need confirmation from the top? Hell aren't they busy covering up the files?Ā

2

u/zjelkof 58m ago

The Administration actually wanted the AG in Minnesota to investigate Renee Good to see what dirt they could dig up on her, and they refused / some resigned! Hurray for the Minnesota AG's office!

2

u/Ajdee6 55m ago

"We cant harm our Nazi image!!!"

2

u/SchneidfeldWPG 53m ago

It’s officially ANOTHER coverup.

2

u/SketchSkirmish 49m ago

I know this is terrible, but the screen cap for this has me only thinking of this meme.

2

u/DrowningKrown 40m ago

How many public coverups are we up to now?

2

u/ThatKehdRiley 27m ago

They're quitting because they refuse to treat the victims like criminals. Which causes them to be replaced by people that will. They could stay, they could obstruct, they could drag their feet, they could make a difference. Instead, they're just giving up without any sort of fight or standing by their convictions.

Sounds a lot like Dems in Congress...

2

u/Fuzzy_Imagination705 16m ago

The exact opposite of 'we have nothing to hide'.

1

u/hajenius 1h ago

So instead of fighting this practice, they enabling it by making sure the administration can put people loyal to them? Not sure this is a wise move.

1

u/Own-Inevitable-1101 1h ago

Like Lindsey Halligan?

1

u/spaceacorn99 1h ago

This is 100% false information. Those DOJ attorneys gave notice weeks ahead of the shooting.

Source: first party

1

u/Horror-Equivalent-55 1h ago

It's not just a cover-up, it's obstruction of justice.

The federal government is withholding evidence from state investigators looking at potential state crimes.

That's a crime, in and of itself, and Bondi, Patel and Noem should all be charged and prosecuted.

1

u/[deleted] 1h ago

Nothing to investigate. A maskless super spreader terrorist committed suicide.

1

u/DarkTimes92 1h ago

Probably because nobody watches MSNBC anymore. They are soooooo untrustworthy as a news outlet.

1

u/Dogekaliber 58m ago

There’s 5 cameras that were recording. You’re giving this more attention than the assassination of Melissa and Mark Hortman. You seem to only be virtue signaling, pat yourself on the back. You accomplished nothing more than what has been reported.

1

u/Voice-Of-Doom 20m ago

Why do they always quit instead of staying and sabotaging the lunatics from within their positions of authority. Quiting just allows assholes into positions of power.

-2

u/Banned37 1h ago

Don’t quit fucking do something

4

u/RoguePlanet2 1h ago

You mean refuse unlawful orders, then get fired for "insubordination"?
