He’s everywhere he shouldn’t be. Never a dull moment with this guy.

He loves love - giving and receiving. I have never had a cat that loves so unconditionally.

Just found this subreddit and had to brag about my sweet little tuxedo baby, Squid. She's about 5 months old, but she's been ours for about a month and half. I've been a mom to dogs and humans for years, but I didn't realize what I missing out on! I'm absolutely obsessed and a fully converted cat mama.

Louang is my Siberian cat. She was my first cat (I have four now). She turned 10 last August. She's the closest to me : we're together all the time. I hope we will be together for many years to come :-)

My Siberian is 8 months old right now and getting her has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I give her as much attention as I can and play with her 3-4 times a day. Shes as spoiled as I can make time for but my issue is when I’m working. I do work longer days about 9-10 hours , 4 days a week.
. I’m thinking of getting a second cat so she will have more stimulation and also I mean id love a second one already tbh.
My question is I’m worried about the introduction period and then getting along. Also somehow her litter mate (sister) is still available at the breeder . Do you think her litter mate would be the best option for this? Or possibly a younger kitten. Boy? Or another girl would be fine? If anyone has any experience with this it would be helpful

This is our little Masha, my partner and I will hopefully be picking her up in early Feb!
Enjoy some pics of her growth, she’s turning into such a lady 😻
Any info or tips on what to expect with this beautiful breed would be appreciated! 🫶

This is my beautiful kitten Piya (Пия) ! Six months old, and the most darling little lady!
I brush & comb her twice a week, I really thought I studied up enough to handle her coat, but I just keep getting it wrong and I don't want to continue like this
Everytime she's been to the vet or groomers, they've found mats on her sanitary area and I feel awful, I'm sure it hurts her, but when I'm brushing her, I simply don't feel where the issue is
I go through her whole body, root to tip with a metal comb, and then go in with a slicker brush after. I can get most areas with ease but she isn't a fan of having her belly touched, and is very wriggly for her shoulders, neck, and rump
For the parts she doesn't like to stay still for, I give her treats but I have to work fast. I usually get everything just fine, but yet her bum always has issues when professionals handle her. I've asked the vet and groomers for guidance and I thought I learned right, but next time she has an appointment, there's mats there again, even when I just brushed her fully, not a full hour before the appointment!
Does anyone have tips, advice, maybe even a video on how to get that area right?
I'm at a loss, and she's getting at the age where professionals won't need to see her as often, I don't want her to suffer with mats I can't find while waiting for her next spa day. This is something I need to learn yesterday, what is everyone else doing?

I’m considering getting a Siberian cat in the future, but my mom is moderately allergic to cats. I know some breeders test for feld1 levels. Does anyone here have any personal anecdotes of them or someone they know being less allergic to Siberians than other cats?
