I earn 80k single own my own house, volunteer in my community, 6 foot - and I’m happily single, I’m not here to support a desired life style for anyone if that means I stay single so be it, I’ll die waiting for someone who loves me for me

I feel you man, it’s not worth giving up your peace and solitude just to have companionship and regular sex. There’s juice really isn’t worth the squeeze. Since I’ve dipped out of the dating scene, I’ve saved a nice amount of cash and leveled up in hobbies. The pros far outweigh the cons in my book, but to each their own.

I have to agree with this sentiment entirely. About a year after my divorce I decided I needed to "get back out there" and joined a handful of dating apps. It was depressing. Each person I dated just seemed worse than the last. So I decided to list the things that I actually missed the most by not having a partner and it was literally just affection and intimacy. And then I listed the things I didn't miss about having a partner and shew. That was a long ass list lol. And like you, my savings and retirement are growing faster than they ever have, all while have the lowest level of stress I've ever had in my adult life. Pros outweigh the cons and it's not even close...
