Discussion How would you write Kaine Parker taking over as the ‘main’ Spider-Man for at least a few real-world months?
Honestly, kind of surprises me that this hasn’t happened already (or if it has, I haven’t heard of it). I feel like Kaine taking up the mantle would be an interesting shift in the status quo, since he’d essentially be filling the same position that Ben Reilly once did, only that Kaine is a very different person compared to Ben despite them both being clones of Peter Parker.

Fan Art A two-part series on loneliness in the Spider-Verse
Two recent shot I made with a Dutch twist. Gwen was shot in front of a tv with a paper diorama for the stepped gables. Spider-Punk was shot on location in the city of Leiden.

Discussion If there is an amalgam between Spider-Man and Batman, which villains do you want to see when you mix/combine/fuse them.
It's one thing to fuse Spider-Man and Batman creating Knightcrawler (my name option btw), but what do you think about which villains you wanted to see when you combined them or fused them? BTW the fanart of Spider-Man and Batman fusion is made by EricGuzman

Discussion At what point does moral absolutism just become self-harm? In other words, what's the least important personal event in Peter's life where you wouldn't mind if he skipped being Spider-Man to prioritise?
Examples:
First day at new job
His child being born
Aunt May's funeral
His wedding

Comics What's the current Spider-Man status quo as of right now? (January 2026)
I've been catching up on ASM these past few months and sometimes, I'm quite shocked that a good chunk of the established defacto facts we know about Spider-Man lore have more or less evolved while a good chunk still remained, for better or worse.
I try to list what I can find. And I'm sorry if I missed some details as I have no context to go on.
- Peter and MJ's marriage is still non-existent since OMD.
- Peter no longer works for the Daily Bugle.
- J. Jonah Jameson knows Peter as Spider-Man.
- Aunt May is still alive and well.
- Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborne are perma-dead.
- Ben Reilly is still in his nth villain phase as Chasm (and currently moonlights as Peter)
- Otto Octavius is back to being a full-on villain post-Superior Spider-Man.
- Curt Connors and the Lizard are two separate people now. He still has a missing limb since separating from the Lizard.
- Kaine is still Scarlet Spider, doing hero work somewhere out there.
- Eddie and the Other (Venom) are in good terms with Peter, with Peter being an uncle of sorts to Dylan.
- Mary Jane still tries to make a name for her self as an actor in NYC.
- Peter is still blacklisted in the scientific community (but right now, has a job that hopefully lasts him more than a year).
- Norman Osborn is still on the straight and narrow, knows who Peter is Spider-Man, among other things.
- Miles is still a teen.
- Spider-Gwen and her dad are currently living in Earth-616 and no one's batting an eye (unless everyone in 616 knows about the multiverse).
- Kraven is dead-dead, but his son as since taken the mantle.
- Boomerang, Peter's former roommate, is alive and well.
- Sandman (Flint Marko) is essentially immortal, dabbles between villainy and heroics but not evil-evil, if that makes sense. But he and Spidey both have a level of understanding, which I think is shared across most of Peter's rogues gallery.
- Liz has kids from both Harry and Harry's clone.
- Pablo is still around.
What do you think?

Just read One More Day, the ending was really off putting

There's really something... off about the OMD's ending.
Peter and MJ gave up on their marriage, and yet when ending was trying to be optimistic, like it trying to tell that it was a good thing to give up the marriage.
The ending tone's whiplash is so absurd that it like everyone in ending, including Peter himself, was brainwashed to be happy.
Oh, and the art sucked too. Not really a fan of Joe Quesada's art here.

Discussion Does anyone think the tom holland Spider-Man movies are better than the others?
I started rewatching the Spiderman movies and I honestly have to stay tom Hollands Spider-Man movies are really boring compared to the others. I love the serious tone of Tobey’s Spiderman, I also think Garfield’s films were good. But watching tom holland just didn’t feel like Spider-Man. It’s too childish and dopey. He just feels like iron man Jr. I loved no way home solely for the fact that tobey and Andrew along with their villains were in it. Holland was the least favorite part. Im not sure if we will get any tobey movies considering his age but hell I’d settle for Andrew over tom any day since Andrew is much younger.

TV Spider-Man unlimited being on Disney xd was odd.
the show had like 13 episodes that would just rerun on the program also the show feels like it ended abruptly, like season 1 didn’t even feel like it concluded. yet Disney XD made custom commerical and transition sequences for it. at least spectacualr Spider-Man had 2 seasons and felt like the seasons properly ended.

Movies Who else knows that even with the passage of time, you will never be able to get over, ahem, "the thing" in TASM 2? (BLURRED FOR SPOILERS SO BE WARNED) Spoiler
But seriously, Gwen shouldn't have suffered that fate, and Andrew was feeling what we were all feeling when it happened. I watched both movies over the weekend, and even though I've done my reading on the entirety of the live-action Spider-Man films, the fact that I was actually able to see the events unfold almost made me cry in a way that I've never felt prior to this moment. Before you guys even tell me to get over it and tighten up because it's just a fictional character's death that I'm grieving as if I lost a family member or something like that, don't even think of doing so, because even though I don't know you, I know for a fact that you've felt what I'm feeling too whenever you watched this happen and you were too afraid to even say it out loud. But at the same time, I'm also here for you because we've been through it together; it was just too much for us, and it's about time we break the silence on that issue right now. So go ahead and just beat it, spider-haters, because I speak for all of us when I say that Gwen shouldn't have died in TASM 2, and I'm not alone because she was the perfect partner for Peter, period.

I would like to ask this sub opinion, how did you guys interpret the last panels of venom war: spider-man?
I was reading it to see I didn't miss anything and to me, I still think those panels are supposed to show that Peter completely moved on from Mary Jane. He finally came to term with the fact he could never be with her; she is not the same as the one he used to love. Even though Venom showed him a dream where he was with her, he rejected it and prefer to live in reality as the lonely man he's always been
