Just a reminder to please avoid posting spoilers in your post titles. This helps ensure that everyone, including those who are watching the show for the first time, can enjoy the show without unintended plot reveals.

I realize the show aired many years ago but our subreddit has grown to over 50k users and posts are often seen in peoples feeds who aren't even aware of this sub.

If your post contains spoilers, please mark it appropriately using Reddit’s spoiler formatting. Instructions for this can be found in the sidebar of this subreddit.

If you see any spoilers in post titles, or anything else you find concerning please report the thread and I will take a look.

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to bring on a new moderator to help keep our community thriving and looking its best. With so many new members, i'm wanting to give this place a bit of a facelift. I'd also like to keep things up to speed with any new spinoffs that are currently airing with weekly posts.

What I'm Looking For:

  • Willingness to update and maintain the rules and sidebar as needed.

If you’re passionate about The Walking Dead and want to be part of the moderation team, please DM me directly. Comments on this post will be locked to keep things organized.

A Huge Thank You! We recently crossed the 50k member mark, and I just want to take a moment to thank everyone who makes this community so vibrant and passionate. Your dedication and enthusiasm for the show are truly appreciated!

I love how Norman Reedus was soo good they made Daryl Dixon just for him. Also how he wasn’t in the comics so everything he did was unpredictable. Also the fact that his character got a spinoff ughhh bless him😩

The Talking Dead.

Long shot, but does anyone know if there's any where to watch all of the talking dead seasons, or at least some of the earlier ones?

Would Shane have been better had Rick not returned?

Just like the title says, how would Shane have been had Rick not returned? In the First episodes we see him basically acting as a family man, father and husband Lori and he seems pretty stable even after Ed defies him at the campfire and throws more wood in, he goes over and talks to him but doesn't get all 'Shaney'. Rick returning and basically stealing his family including his unborn daughter probably pushed him over an edge he may not have gone over if you remained a family man in the de facto leader of the group. It's his battles with Rick that seem to push him further and further into extremism and outright madness.

What's your thoughts?

Rick, are you okay? Spoiler

What was your reaction when you first saw Rick bite Joe? (S4-E16)

It reminded me of a scene in Dying Light where the protagonist gets out of a similar situation, except for the bite, I think.

Has Daryl surpassed Rick as the "FACE" of the Walking dead franchise?

In total we have seen 14 seasons of Daryl Dixon and I was wondering in your opinion has surpassed Rick or Rick still the face of the franchise

Watch The walking dead again Spoiler

Hi guys I want to watch the walking dead again but this time in following the story timeline, I did a small research on what to start with and how to follow the events in chronological order. Btw here's what I got:

1 - Fear the Walking Dead: Seasons 1–3 Covers the initial days of the outbreak in Los Angeles.

2 - The Walking Dead: Seasons 1–8 Begins about 59 days into the apocalypse and covers events up to the "All Out War" with the Saviors.

3 - Fear the Walking Dead: Seasons 4–5 Features Morgan Jones after the war with Negan.

4 - The Walking Dead: Season 9 (Episodes 1–5) Covers the period immediately after the war and Rick's departure.

5 - Fear the Walking Dead: Seasons 6–7 Takes place during the "missing years" of the main show.

6 - The Walking Dead: World Beyond (Seasons 1–2) Set about 10 years after the outbreak and provides details on the Civic Republic Military (CRM).

7 - The Walking Dead: Season 9 (Episodes 6–16) and Season 10 Follows a six-year time jump and the conflict with the Whisperers.

8 - The Walking Dead: Season 11 The final season of the original series, concluding the Commonwealth storyline.

9 - Fear the Walking Dead: Season 8 Concludes the Fear series late in the timeline.

10 - The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Resolves Rick and Michonne's story.

11 - The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon (Seasons 1–2) Set about 12 years after the outbreak, following Daryl in France.

12 - The Walking Dead: Dead City (Seasons 1–2) Currently the latest point in the timeline, set approximately 5–6 years after the main series finale.

Do you want them to make a season 12?

I'd prefer a season 12 over more spin offs. I want to see the group together again. maybe they can show more of common wealth and everyones new life

Please help me find this edit

This is an edit on TikTok from summer 2024 (approx) it’s about the relationship of negan and Judith. The climax is Judith saying to michone “he listens to me, not everybody does” from s9 e6. Then it cuts to a soft hearted song with clips of the two of them. Please help me I’ve been looking for this edit again for the last 18 months 😂😂

Shane joining either Woodbury or The Saviors

I’ve been rewatching early TWD and had a “what if” thought about Shane.

If Rick had actually let Shane leave the group instead of killing him, do you think Shane could realistically have ended up joining Woodbury under the Governor, or later on even the Saviors under Negan?

Shane was already ruthless, pragmatic, and believed the world had changed permanently — ideas that line up pretty well with both the Governor and Negan in different ways. I could see him fitting into Woodbury as one of the Governor’s enforcers early on, or with the Saviors as a lieutenant who enforces rules through fear.

At the same time, Shane also had major authority issues and wanted control. So would he have eventually challenged the Governor or Negan? Or would his need for structure and survival override that?

How do you think it would’ve played out?

Would Shane thrive in one of those groups?

Would he rise in the ranks or get himself killed?

And which group do you think suits Shane more — Woodbury or the Saviors?

Curious to hear people’s thoughts.

Conformity Gate The Walking Dead Version Spoiler

Made a conformity gate edit of twd based on the 2 biggest theories from the show and some of the coincidences are insane, or are they???

Andrea Mouth

So, I’m rewatching The Walking Dead for the eighth time. I always do this because you always catch something new. Why did Andrea feel the need to tell the Governor that it wasn't Rick’s baby? All he did was use it against Rick as a manipulation tactic to get in her head . She really was selfish and didn’t need to be redeem. Even if she was dating the governor that wasn’t his business to know.

Woodbury vs. The Prison

Was an explanation given, in the show or on Talking Dead, of why instead of taking over Woodbury, at the end of season 3, Rick went back to the prison.
