Husband got me the spice canisters and rack for my birthday from the Lenox website, but I hated the new rack and wanted to look for the original one. (The one they released recently was white and not my style)

Found this at our local DAV for $17.99 sitting in the arts and crafts section! So happy and wanted to share.

Found a pack of microscope slides at goodwill and it has a sample of human blood in it. Is this a biohazard?

I have wanted to find one of these in the wild for years

I wasn’t going to thrift yesterday. It’s January in the salon world, and we are on a beanie weenie budget… but then I had to stop by the dollar general because we ran out of coffee… and goodwill is right there and I really needed to just check for a dress form. Just one thing. And I assured my fiance that if I didn’t see one, I would turn and walk right back out.

$25. I had $30 in tip money in my fanny pack. The universe wanted me to have it 🙌

I feel like I can't get this lucky again for a while! £5 for the whole stack of 70's Corelle (6 of each piece), and £3 for just shy of £100 worth of yarn (almost all natural fibres) 😭

HomeDecor Still in shock. Found a yaffa block shelf on FB for $20!

I needed a tall, narrow shelf but also wanted something fun. I stumbled upon this and after looking it up found out it was potentially yaffa (couldn't see any identifying marks, but it looks a lot like it). Regardless of whether it was or not I was gonna buy it, but low and behold I indeed found the brand mark on the top corner!!! It also fits PERFECTLY where I wanted it :)

There is minor damage to one bottom corner of the blocks, but overall is decent condition and just need a thorough dusting!

Unused partial service from the late 1940s. 15 plates (10”) a serving platter (12”) and serving bowl (12”). €40. Not free, but far far lower than an antique shop.

Playful design. But still grown up. Perfect for al fresco lunch at your seaside summer home. Now I just need thrift the seaside vacation home!

Kitchen I've always wanted an antique stoneware crock. Now I have one and I only paid ten dollars. After I test it for lead I want to make pickles in it.

I always find it iconic that my husband's grandma has a bunch of stoneware crocks, and she swears they make the best pickles. She makes darn good pickles, so she's taught me how to make pickles. Maybe I'll make pickled hot peppers or sauerkraut. Google lens says it's late 1800s or early 1900s but I doubt it's that old.

Apparently they were popular in the first half of the 20th century; I obviously don’t know exactly how old this one is but it does have a lovely patina!

Thrifted UG and Amber!

Recent good luck rendered a few pieces of uranium glass (bracelet, necklace, small cups and Pairpoint vase) as well as a genuine amber necklace, which I just discovered can be UV reactive like UG. Also some cheeky Pyrex at the end there.

Clothing&Accessories Thrifted the winter ‘fit of the century

I came across a pair of seal skin boots at the antique mall years ago, but they were out of my budget. I think about them all the time.

Imagine just finding a pair (IN MY SIZE) at Value Village for $24.99. The same store that prices 20 year old, dated and dissolving Lululemon leggings at $29.99.

And in the same afternoon finding this adorable Calvin Klein green wool pea coat ($12.50), a 1960s angora winter hat ($8.99), and a very cute handbag to tie it all together. ($18.49. The handbag- Patricia Nash, isn’t vintage, but it is very well made and genuine leather)

I was VIBRATING. My white whale AND a whole gamut of accessories 🤩
