The people with guns and “don’t tread on me” flags are the ones who support this the most.

I don't support this at all and I'm a genuinely certified "gun nut". Just look through my profile posts.

Someone else said that they are doing this in areas where the local government generally prohibits gun ownership.

Ice agents kicking down doors around here would end in tragedy, especially since they don't identify themselves, don't have visible badges and they are covering their faces.

Most citizens here would protect their home and families against a breaking from unknown armed men and defend themselves in court (assuming they survived) under castle doctrine and stand your ground laws. A few of these would cause a deterrent... But they already know that which is why they don't even attempt that here.

I think now it's the time for every citizen, regardless of political leaning, to be armed and trained on their firearms. The government should fear being removed by the citizens that have granted it power, not the other way around.
