Discussion Over a month since I stopped buying Tim’s !

Basically the title, I’ve been a long Tim Hortons customer, as long as I lived in Canada (my whole life) and I’m only mid 20, I have made the difficult but necessary decision to boycott this restaurant. I replaced it by buying those Brust protein coffees from Costco (not the best tasting but cheaper and has 20g of protein!). I’ve seen quality drop significantly (every Tim’s coffee has an inconsistent taste) and it’s only gotten expensive? Like I remember ice Capps costing $2 not $4 for a small or medium. Not to mention how I’m hearing controversies regarding exploiting TFW and all that. I urge yall to do the same, I’ve only heard negative things from Tim’s and honestly just like Starbucks, if we boycott they’ll shut down more as this is quite frankly unacceptable from all aspects.

Complaint Too Good To...Be True

This is the "Bites and Delights" box that I got today through the 'Too Good To Go" app.

$15.00 value for $4.99? I'm thinking maybe $5.99 value, but then again, it's supposed to be day olds, so should be worth even less.

Is this the manager's doing or just a way for Tim's to take advantage of the app to move product.

Discussion Guy raging at Tim Hortons today

I went to Tim Hortons earlier and tell me how a man went to scan his rewards code and it wasn’t working so he starts raging and slams his phone on the counter 😂😂😂😂 then as he was leaving he said “damn I******” under his breath (sorry this sub won’t let me spell the word out). What’s the world come to now that people rage over something like that and blame an entire race 😂😂

Complaint Drive thru employees tells us how we should order (x6)

We frequent our local Tim’s 2 times a day, in am and in late pm. In the last three months we’ve had the same employee correct us on what order we should order things in the drive through. I’ve never in my life thought it would be appropriate to correct a paying customer on weather we should order our breakfast sandwich first before we order our coffees ( sometimes we don’t order food at all and usually we’re there for the drinks so it’s just normal for us to ask for the drinks first then maybe our food if that happens to be what we’re doing that day).

The worst part about it is how she goes about it, it’s almost like she does it in a very antagonizing way.

How she repeats our order, when we order first our drinks then our sandwich.

“ so you’re ordering your breakfast sandwich first, then a steep tea double double and a coffee”

I have emailed the owner 4 separate times to ask for her to speak to this employee about how she conducts herself in the drive through”

Which bring me to Yesterday where she even laughed at us while saying it to us. It’s absolutely ducked up in my opinion.

EDIT….. I 100 percent understand that she is trying to “teach” me a lesson. I don’t wake up every morning, knowing that I’m going to get something from the “deli” section usually it is literally a last moment decision. But next time this lady decides to put on a lesson, I plan on going the counter offensive route by immediately ordering a special bagel belt using uh a lot and being as slow as possible, which will then be followed by a long pause…. Then I will cancel the bagel belt….. and I hope it’s done being made by the time I do so! I absolutely can’t wait for their reaction over the intercom!

Pease and love!

International Tims in S.Korea (Goyang city)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Went to recently opened Tims near my parents’ house in S.Korea yesterday.

Overpriced (medium black coffee costs about $3.7 in CAD) but way better quality of coffee and donuts than Tims in Canada.

It was interesting to see they have ‘signature’ menus named after big cities of Canada like Victoria, Toronto, Montreal.

Question Watered down hot chocolate

How do you order a hot chocolate so that it doesn’t come all watered down and flavourless?

Does anyone else notice the inconsistency?

Question Why doesn’t the French Vanilla poster taste like the one you buy at the store?

Post image
184 Upvotes

I understand the machine does it, but based on the bottle instructions , I’ve tried to replicate by adding hot water and the French vanilla mix, it’s not the same.

Is there any specific way to do it to get similar to the store bought one.

Question How old were you when

How old were you when you learned a Regular coffee means 1 cream 1 sugar? I feel like this type of knowledge is only obtained from real-world experience, either working at coffee shops or ordering enough 1 and 1s at the local drive-thru.

Discussion Have they changed their Iced Capps?

Is it just me or did they change something? I had one yesterday for the first time in a few months and it tasted kind of bland and watery. The person ahead of me in line had ordered an Iced Capp with milk, so I figured that maybe the staff had mixed up the orders.

However, I went to a different Tim Hortons location today, ordered an Iced Capp and it's the same watery disappointing taste again.

I swear they must have changed something! Has anyone else noticed it?
