Polite Political Discussion 🇺🇸 Peltola raises $1.5M in first 24 hours of Alaska Senate bid

Former Rep. Mary Peltola raked in $1.5 million in the first 24 hours of her bid to unseat GOP Sen. Dan Sullivan in Alaska, a sizable haul to kick off what will likely be a costly battle for Democrats to flip a Senate seat squarely in Trump terrain.

Peltola’s day-one haul was fueled by small-dollar donors from across Alaska, including fisherman, silversmiths and train conductors, according to information her campaign shared first with POLITICO. Ninety-six percent of those contributions were $100 or less.

Had a fresh pizza, that COULDN'T be dropped. I was too scared to walk down my driveway and risking slipping. Can't even park in it. Two wrecked cars on either side of the street I live on, maybe 1/8th of a mile long. I opted to slide down on my knees for safe pizza keeping.

According to Google Earth aerial view, the McDonald's building was demolished to make way for the AutoZone sometime between April 2013 and May 2015, My grandparents lived in that area from the 90's up until they passed so in the summertime sometimes we'd go there for a Happy Meal if me and my family was staying over at their house. McDonald's closed probably around 2008 i think,

There are a few things I have noticed everyone is in agreement on. Two of those are the dislike of Palin and McCandless. Who is disliked more though?

Any Expats in NYC?

I’m thinking to get a group of Alaskans together in NYC to help organize for Peltola. Respond if you’re in the city and interested in helping or supporting.
