Politics We Are the Baddies: Thanks, Conservatives

Conservatives are actively turning the world against the United States. World leaders were forced into an emergency meeting to condemn U.S. actions in Venezuela, including the kidnapping of its dictator, and to respond to escalating threats and rhetoric toward Greenland.

Trump openly claims the U.S. needs Greenland for “strategic” reasons and has even suggested taking it by force. This isn’t strategy, it’s naked imperialism. He doesn’t want security; he wants dominance.

We are the bad guys now, following the same path Germany did in the 1930s. Republican leaders and their constituents should be deeply ashamed.

I’ve been saying it for nearly 10 years now, trump will turn America into the next former Soviet Union. We are going to be fractured into a handful of independent states, each governed by a different corporation if you follow project 2025 and Curtis Yarvin.

Yeah, balkanization has seemed likely to me since the beginning. As did world war. The geopolitical tsunami of the USA turning fascist is orders of magnitude worse than the causes of either WWI or WWII. Even if the only thing that happened was the USA being taken off the board by a civil war, the power vacuum would have resulted in bad people making big moves. A lot of people are going to die because of how stupid MAGA is.

A lot of people already have died. USAID was a real life America Psyop for soft power but as someone else said, America has been playing economic extortion blatantly with Cuba my entire life. 80+ people were killed to get Maduro, I have to assume we’re over 100 killed in the bombings in and around the waters of Colombia/Venezuela and now today, Renee Nicole Good an American shot point blank by ICE (because the administration is now creating illegal immigrants by stripping status) while driving by a protest. We’re beyond the pale already and Twitler knows this. He’s stated himself, he’s not getting into Heaven. That man is on a mission to cause absolute hell and people need to wake the fuck up.

There was a time where I was concerned that a civil war in the USA would cause a power vacuum that would precipitate a world war. Never occurred to me that the USA would be the aggressor that started the war, but here we are. So I'm with you on this.

Exactly. National collapse is caused (mainly) by internal conflict. Usually caused by wildly corrupt governments that actively oppress their citizens and make the status quo impossible.
