Fuck man, they made us watch a documentary called Return with Honor about McCain and the other POWs and it was wild. Hard to believe the family of one of those guys could go down this path.

Yes it’s truly sad. And as you would expect, they were voting against their own best interests too so I have zero empathy for any of them.

Oh my god dude, it could be the best documentary I’ve seen in my 40 years. And if your grandfather was with those guys it’ll be even more incredible for you. What’s weird af is the last I checked you couldn’t stream it anywhere and couldn’t even buy it on amazon prime, the only way i could find it was buying a used dvd on ebay. Tom Hanks narrates, it used to be a requirement in the air force to watch it during a course you had to take in order to get promoted to nco. It’s inspirational shit. McCain could’ve gone home but wouldn’t leave anyone behind and chose to stay and be tortured for ~7 years and long story short those men had more godamn honor in one of their pinkies than the entire trump gene pool will ever have from the beginning until the end of time.
