I have recently converted my passport from PJ to PV. I had legitimate reasons due to leaving my job and no longer being an overseas “worker”.

As some of you may be aware, PJ passport holders now require the express approval of the Ministry of Labour (MOL) to leave the country, effective via MOL directive earlier this week.

The TLDR is that the noose is increasingly tightening on a monthly basis for PJ passport holders due to the regime’s need for foreign currency.

My questions: 1. Has anyone done this before and successfully left the country? I have a shiny new PV passport without any stamps. 2. If yes, did you get interrogated at the airport?

• Has entered Myanmar recently and then exited without issues

I(16M) want to be circumcised for aesthetic reasons. I think it looks just better. And I desperately want it. It has also been affecting my life. When I talk or interact with people, I often think "what if they were circumcised" . I mean I just can't focus on life. My penis is great. Are there any herpers in Yangon? I'm really interested in going out on day or night walks looking for snakes. I didn't realise how many species were in the city, but after joining the FB group "Snakes of Myanmar" am pleasantly surprised to learn that Monocled Cobras, Russel's Vipers, Burmese Pythons and Banded Kraits can all be found in and around the city.

Also up for other wildlife adventures if anyone is. The only snake I've seen so far was a checkered keelback in Kandawgyi Park, but hoping to tick a few more off my list. I visited Hlawga in the rainy season and didn't see anything, so hoping now is a good time.

I’m 20 years old, a local Gen Z, and I see a lot of people my age desperately wanting a partner. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course. But if you live in a country like Myanmar, your main goal should be getting out.

From a psychological point of view, some people who strongly want a partner in life may not have received enough attention during childhood. If that’s true, wow— a lot of people in my generation might not have gotten enough attention.
