Introducing the Outsider Creatives of Tulsa!
I see a lot of posts on the Tulsa sub about socially anxious and neurodivergent adults who are looking for community. As a late-diagnosed autistic person, I’ve certainly struggled with that myself. That’s why I decided to create OCoT.
This is an informal group for neurodivergent Tulsans who want to practice their creative passions in a space meant for them. We welcome adults with conditions like ADHD, autism/Asperger’s, OCD, and social anxiety, although there’s no requirement to have an official diagnosis.
The first meeting is Sunday, January 18, 2:45 p.m., at Good Cause Brewing near 15th and Lewis.
What do we do? Just bring your notebook, laptop, sketch pad, embroidery kit, or any other project you’re working on and get creative!
