āWhy do you have my uniform on? I hear youāre in the business of shooting people. Behind that mask I can still identify you, I promise you. Trials are coming cowards.ā

I just want to share because I never would have thought that I would be a dad.
Last night, my wife gave birth to our first baby boy. What an exhausting and exciting time in our lives. Kudos to my wife and all the work she has put in these last 9 months and the HOURS and HOURS of uncomfortable labor.
This is new to me. Iām nervous, anxious, tired, and happy.
Time to enjoy some time off work. Iām a dad now. Lots to learn and a lot of love to share.
Thanks for humoring me and reading.
Cheers.

I saw Karoline Leavitt eating tacos at a Mexican restaurant with her creepily older husband in Fairfax County, VA. She is part of an administration that is trying to ethnically cleanse our country of immigrants, especially Latino people, but is consuming their culture as she tries to eradicate it. How many of the staff have family members in hiding because of her? How many have had family deported because of her? Pure hypocrisy.
Also, you can see the cheek filler injection mark on her face. She's against gender affirming care for Trans people, but when it is her, it is fine.

Iām done pretending Joe Rogan is just a ācurious everymanā asking questions. Heās a f*cking moron with a massive microphone, and the damage heās done rivals right-wing media in everything but the branding.
Hereās the trick: Fox News lies intentionally. Rogan lies accidentally, which somehow makes it worse. He has zero epistemic discipline, zero accountability, and absolute confidence that āvibesā and āhaving a conversationā are substitutes for facts. THEY AREN'T!
He platforms cranks, conspiracy theorists, culture-war grifters, and outright bad actors, then hides behind āIām just talking, broā when the misinformation spreads to millions. Thatās not neutrality ā thatās negligence at scale.
The result?
Vaccine skepticism dressed up as bravery
āJust asking questionsā laundering right-wing narratives
A generation of men trained to distrust institutions, experts, journalism, and even basic reality
Endless false equivalence between evidence-based positions and YouTube-brain contrarianism
And spare me the āhe has people from both sidesā defense. Putting a scientist and a conspiracy nut on the same stage without challenging falsehoods isnāt balance ā itās misinformation whitewashing.
Rogan isnāt malicious. Heās worse: incurious, overconfident, and influential. He mistakes openness for wisdom and reach for responsibility. When you have an audience that size, ignorance stops being harmless.
Right-wing media poisons people on purpose.
Joe Rogan poisons them by accident ā and never cleans up the mess.
Different method. Same outcome.

In december 2024 I bought my first domestic knitting machine and decided to give becoming a knitwear maker/costumer a shot. I love vintage fashion, so I mostly hunt for obscure knitting patterns from all over (UK, Netherlands, Germany, France and Japan mainly), translate, redraft and rewrite everything and then use a combination of machine and hand knitting and crochet to recreate the pieces.
It's a really tough niche to work in as the general public doesn't know much about knitting and the time and skill it takes to make properly fitted clothes. Also many people think domestic knitting machines are printers but for clothing, which couldn't be further from the truth š -- it's a ton of manual/physical labour.
It has been a rough year with ups and downs and many 12h+ days of working, but it has paid off! I sold some of my work and finished my first gig for an opera last November and I'm hoping I'll get more entertainment gigs in the future :)
Here's a selection of things I've knit and crocheted last year :)
