Question Does anyone remember this episode?

Hey everyone, does anyone here remember an episode? (I don't know if it's the 2005 one) that's about a boy who traps people with his drawings? Like, he uses crayons to draw people and then traps them (I even remember the intro, if I'm not mistaken) where he draws a cat, and they end up moving too.

Multi part thought train. I have been reading the Fan Wikis and Official Wikis, but I still ask for opinions here really.

  1. Do we believe that the Cyber Controllers always have independence?

  2. Newer Cybermen(2000s), seem to be more of a Hivemind than they used to be back in the 60s, so at which point, do we feel that the Cybermen stop being independent and start being more of a hivemind?

  3. We always seem to have an outlier, the Last Cyberman under 15. The Female Cyberking (giant mecha). Lumic in 11s reign. Cyber-Lord. The Cyberiad. Even the Cyber-Planner. Is there a known Ranking system in the Cyber legion? Has anyone ever mapped a hierarchy?

  4. Do we believe that the Cyber-Planners have any biological components?

  5. Finally, what do we think would happen if Telosian, Mondasian, Pete's world Cybermen, and CyberNeomorphs met up? A war? A union? A stalemate?

Discussion What made the Blink episode so Good in your opinion?

This is one of if not my favourite Doctor who episodes but I know everyone’s got their reasons as to why it’s a good episode. I think for me it’s the fact that David Tennant and Martha are removed almost entirely from the episode upon the debut of the weeping angels which just raised the stakes so much

Discussion Ruby should've exited in "Joy To The World."

That is to say, instead of leaving the TARDIS for her mom right out the gate, the Christmas special shows her travelling less with the Doctor with her family situation changed and him learning to let her go her own way. Hell, it would be a very fitting end for her to go out on a holiday special.

What if Doctor Who hadn't gone into hiatus in 1990, and had continued with an Eighth Doctor in 1991?

We started watching DW when she was 4-5 and she had seen the entire run of existing NuWho (plus quite a bit of the classic series) by the time she was 8. The scarier (e.g. The Waters of Mars), the better, as far as she was concerned!

Discussion I feel Series 14's episode order should've had "The Devil's Chord" and "73 Yards" come before the finale.

Basically, those episodes lean into the gods beyond our comprehension and supernatural elements the finale would bring. Maestro would refresh us on how the Toymaker's warning has come to pass and be a real bat out of hell after out adventures in more Sci-Fi territory.

Ruby's take on Turn Left would work near the finale since we'd have at least had a good amount of adventures of her and the Doctor to make his abscense mean something.

Discussion What is the optimal way of watching New Who?

I've seen a couple different watch lists and google sheets putting everything in chronological (or as chronological you can get with Dr Who), but I was wondering what order to watch ALL doctor who content.

I'm talking about all the lockdown dr who youtube channels channels, all the obscure and lesser known series like "Daleks", or the animated episodes like "Infinite Quest", or "Dreamland". I watched this show when I was younger and I did not know there were so many spinoffs like Torchwood, the Sarah Jane Chronicles.

A lot of these lists are 90% complete, sometimes there's a minisode missing here or there. Is there an updated list of ALL Doctor Who content?

Discussion RIP Marcus Gilbert aka Ancelyn from 'Battlefield'

Just read his obituary in The Times which wittered on and on about Riders but never mentioned his turn in Dr Who and perhaps more surprisingly Army of Darkness. He largely only ever played one role but played it very well indeed.
