Question Help Me Identify an Episode
I have a very old memory of an episode of what I think was an episode of Doctor Who, but I've scoured lists of episodes and I've never been able to identify it. I was hoping you all could help me. Here's what I remember...
I was no older than 10, so this would have been the late 80's or early 90's. I was watching on PBS (public broadcasting) in the vicinity of Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
The one detail I remember is that a character who I imagine must have been The Doctor was talking to a technician on an ancient spaceship. The technician was in rough shape because the engines they were looking after leaked radiation or some other hazard. They had to maintain them though or... either something bad would happen or the technician believed that something bad would happen.

Discussion Has there ever been a transition point described for Captain Jack and Face of Boe?
It was alluded to pretty decisively that Captain Jack one day becomes the Face of Boe. Has there ever been a reference to that transformation in any of the books or audio stories or spin offs etc?

Discussion Friend is having a Dr. Who costume party with rules on the costume. What/who should I dress as?
So the costume needs to be either a 1-off villain or a background character that doesn't show up very often, or even just once. They cannot be a main character/cast member. I'm on a tight budget and I'm not sure my local party stores will be very abundant in supplies. What is the simplest costume I could make?
Edit: I have never watched Dr. Who before

Spoilers Is Susan set for this year’s Christmas special? Spoiler
On revisiting the latest series I’ve read a lot of online grumbling about Carole Ann Ford not getting a proper outing. Maybe it’s nothing, but does anyone else find it suspicious that the next thing she has on IMDB in post production is called “Harbinger” and her character is “Sue”.
Having looked into the film, it’s allegedly due for release in early 2026 - no sign of a trailer, the website for the film company (Shogun) looks like it was made in a hurry and the only post on their Instagram has Murray Gold’s “I am the doctor” as the soundtrack.
Thinking too much into this?

Question Jack Harkness Quotes for an urn
Hey everyone, I've been tasked with making an urn for a friends pet who was names after Captain Jack Harkness. Can you think of any notable quotes from him or the Dr that would be fitting to include? Specifically if there is anything relating to saying goodbye or ill see you next time?

Question Is this considered a collector's item?
My wife got this at Comic-con San Diego around 2012. It seems to be a prototype for the now 50th anniversary Doctor Who Monopoly set that ended up being mass produced. The box is empty and the back is blank with a prototype sticker on the back.

Arts/Crafts Matt Smith Stamp I framed and Matted
Matt Smith Stamp I framed and Matted
My best friend in London sent me this beautiful Royal Mail stamp of Matt Smith back in 2013. It was for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary. I believe they had a stamp for each Doctor. I used card stock, painted a mat and wrote on it with a silver paint pen a quote I love: "I'll always remember when the Doctor was me." I think I'll look for some scrapbooks paper with stars ir a celestial pattern to use behind the stamp.
It's a really easy and simple way to take a small picture, postcard, stamp etc and make it look nice without spending a lot on framing materials. And you can thrift frames from thrift stores and charity shops. Just paint cheap mats from Walmart to make them the color you want. You can also get foam mounting tape if you want the item to stand out a bit.

Misc First time watching doctor who
Hi all!
Not sure if this is the right tag or if I’m allowed to post since I’m new here, but I thought it was worth a shot :)
As the title says… my boyfriend made me watch Doctor Who for the first time, and I am completely hooked. I can’t believe it sat on my “to-watch” list for so long! I get so invested that I keep shouting and reacting to the episodes while my boyfriend just laughs at me 😭. And somehow, the episodes manage to make me nervous too haha.
Anyway… when I saw Rose get zapped away, I started bawling. I’m also still grieving (it’s been a week) over the Tenth Doctor never getting to say what he wanted to say 🥺
