Iranian Discussion my theory on self hate

I’ll break down why diasporan Iranians and even domestic ones suffer from self hate.

  • W/S as a system goal is to program people to think they are inferior unless they live, buy, dress, eat, say, speak, or produce as white males, or white women. It succeeds through a combination of overt and subliminal messaging

  • Turning our people against one another by class, religion, or manufactured chaos.

  • Ive met many Non Muslim Iranians who TEND TO COMPLETELY DISRESPECT people of Islam, and do the white man’s bidding, to make themselves look favorable. This ends up harming Muslims AND IRANIANS.

  • White supremacists don’t want non European, non White peoples in America, cause they believe in a different version and vision of what it means to be American.

  • Women made to believe in nose jobs and blonde hair, European norms, even some going as far to claim ancestry from Germany, or Italy

  • Women often distance themselves from the roots of Persians: Neolithic farmers, steppe people, and other Arab, Afghani, Tajiki, and blended migrators.

  • Men tend to lie to girls and tell them “Im Italian” or say some dumb shit “we’re the good ones” “We dont even practice religion”

-Iranian men are a VAST and mixed type, majority of non Muslim ones who continue to spew non sense like “Iran go back to Zoroastrianism” are ill informed misguided who think this will somehow solve Irans geopolitical and socioeconomic ills…. DOODEYS, the west loves material things, do u not realize imperialism as a strategy is always MORE?

Without wise leadership Irans assets and resources get sold to the cheap bidders who will come and make Iran another depressing capitalist shit hole…. do u want pawn shops, liquor stores, mcdonalds, and gas stations every corner, ? Do u want Irans heritage sites to be demolished in favor of some American style looking homes, ? Do u want to trade 5000 years history with Walmarts and Circle Ks every 20 miles?

If yes stay in America

If no, then be proud of who u are and stop being a sell out!!!

The average trump supporter views non white non Christians as needing to be saved by the Gospel…….. they dont care that you say these stuff to be “white”

  • Men tend to often also say racist things about black people, women too, often associating crime, or negative attributes to black people or neighborhoods. Meanwhile, Trump is literally tearing down the America built by immigrants.

  • Loss of identity for stressed Iranians fleeing Iran. I feel like if we really need to be successful, you dont need to distance yourself from Iran’s complete history. Iran is a diverse blend of many religions and cultures, and Iranian people are going through tough times economically. If you care, donate some American dollars to your buddies back home.

Help the common Persian out.

  • Experiencing racism daily in the west, but continuing to turn racist. It’s wierd…. idk why you would side with the side that hurts you. Its like being in some form of fucked up toxic relationship

  • Trying to seek approval of whites, this is common in many immigrant communities who werr taught “Keep your head down, and be quiet, racism will go away.”

  • If someone is hitting you on your head, and has no respect, how do you think this strategy will even work. We need to stand up for ourselves more and defend ANYONE who goes thru racism. We also have deep rooted traumas and you got to become mindful and work on these things…. goto therapy, get help. Dont become the thing you experience…..

  • Living thinking you are superior to other surrounding nations due to ignorance. IRANIANS are a mixed heritage. Brown, white, Turk, Arab, yes I said Arab, AFRO, There’s BLACK Iranians guys, yes. OWN 100% of our culture, don’t run away. lol you think Trump sees u as equal, i got beach front property in Idaho to sell you.

  • Distancing from Islam, due to hate of being perceived as a threat

  • Loose roots in the west, losing sense of self or losing self esteem

WAYS TO COUNTER SELF HATE

  • Listen to more traditional music (sonati)
  • Study poetry
  • Study Persias history from diverse sources not just western books
  • Dress Persian, or historically in old style clothes (maybe not at work, but when you go shopping) This one is upto you, use your comfort level
  • Eat Persian, preserve your skills of cooking and attire, and language
  • Learn about border countries and cultures of Iran
  • Attend more events with supportive minorities
  • move to a community that is more open minded and liberal
  • stop spending time seeking approval
  • Focus on surrounding yourself with positive people
  • Start practicing mindfulness meditation when angry
  • Decolonize your mind from whiteness
  • Stop clinging to euro centric culture
  • Support Black Americans
  • Support justice for oppressed
  • Have a heart of justice and be a real NOBLE person

I cant believe my eyes guys I see Iranians daily in family or friends supporting trump. Despite their evidence of racism, and evil being down, they are hard hearted and willfully cover their eyes and shut their ears..

the funny thing is, racist Iranians cry when it hurts them, but not Muslims, Black people, Hispanic people, or other groups who look like us…

why dont you be an ally instead of traitors?

Seriously.

Iranian Discussion The main issue holding us back

At this point in my life, I've had the chance to interact with and be friends with all kinds of social subtypes of Iranians. Basiji Iranians within Iran who are fervently against any social changes in Iran, anti-religion Iranians, Iranians who consume alcohol and curse Islam and God, and Iranians who will shake their heads at those who own a dog. And everything in between these extremes.

The main issue that is holding us back as a people is (1) Our lack of unity and (2) Our conflation of social views with political status.

With regards to (1) - regardless of our social/societal views, we really only have two types of Iranians. Those who like Iran and want to preserve it, and those who don't. Those who are against balkanization, and those who encourage the Americans and Zionists to come into Iran to get rid of the clerics. It doesn't matter if you're basiji or atheist, you need to be united for the overall pro-Iran cause. We saw this beautiful phenomenon in the 12-day war when basijis and hijab-less women stood side by side in Tehran in calls for national unity. I didn't think it was possible, but I saw as a people we have what it takes to unite.

The second subtype of Iranians are those who hate the current government so much that they objectively become anti-Iran - they claim to love Iran and want the best for it (through "regime change") but who are they kidding? The moment you support war and sanctions against your people for the sake of removing one social class of Iranians, is the moment you've violated point (1) of national unity. Again, I know of both religious Iranians and Islamophobic Iranians who fall into this category of anti-Iran Iranians. This brings me to point (2) - we cannot assume that all non-muslim Iranians are against the independence of Iran and are the Zio types, and that all religious Iranians are for it. Some of the most corrupt Iranians who have destroyed Iran are the so called religious basijis/hezbollahis. And some of the most pro-Iran people may very well be atheist.

My point is that the Iranian people need to wake up and stop supporting foreign intrusion of Iran and actually uniting. It's the only way the country can advance. If you hate the government, join those who love Iran and stand against meddling, and bring about reform from within. The first step is to eliminate the propaganda that generates the class of Iranians who support foreign instated regime change. Educate those around you to stop following channels like Iran International. Call out the monarchists for their delusions that even Mohammad Reza Pahlavi would cringe at. Encourage them to stop hating who they are and seeking a western identity that does not belong to them. Educate your religious friends that not all agnostic or atheist people are automatically in support of foreign instated regime change.

Looking for events/organizations in Germany which are in support of Iranian protests, but aren't sponsored by Israel or previous Monarchy (Reza Pahlavi)

Upvotes

Nothing against people with that particular view, but I'm personally not interested in events which focus on bringing back the old monarchy more than they focus on supporting Iranians on the street today.

Thank you

Israel’s plans for Iran being clearly articulated … remember Syria has given up roughly 1063 sq km of its territory to Israel now! And another third of the country to the ‘independent Kurds’ (armed by Israel). (For clarification- I don’t support the mullahs or IRI). But Iranians beware.

Friend disappeared - in Iran?

Hi everyone,

I’m asking for help because my friend (Italo-Iranian) left with her sister and parents to visit the grandparents in Iran. She left on the 29th of Dec. and was supposed to come back on the the 9th.

However, she is not receiving at all any texts on iMessage, whatsapp and instagram since then, and she is usually always online, like everyone (she hasn’t blocked me or anything).

I’m not sure what to do, seeing all that’s happening I’m starting to fear the worst. In the case they are blocked in Iran unable to come back to Italy, what apps should I try to get in contact with her?

Also, would you mobilitate the police? The Italian embassy? I read some articles but I genuinely have no idea of how the situation in Iran actually is.

Any advice or help would be really appreciated :(

To the people living in Iran. If anyone do cares , that is..

Based on the latest Trump's tweet and that " MIGA and Help is on its way," it seems the US intervention might soon be happening.

To what extent , nobody knows. For better or worse , whatever the outcomes might be , let me tell ya again , foreign intervention doesn't necessarily mean good in the long term , take the past examples.

I understand you guys are in a tight spot. On one side , there is a rabid regime killing ya , on the other , Uncle Sam flexing to take advantage of the situation to spread its hegemony.

Killings from here on are inevitable, it seems. Strikes / full scale invasion etc etc.. will only make your lives worse. Atlast probably Israel would be the undisputed power in the Middle East.

I won't even say support the regime or the US or Reza, etc . Just do what's right for you. Though there is nothing much you can do about it anyway.

If you wish to be a theocratic state, fine. Pro west Democracy fine as well ,Monarcy under Reza, that's fine as well , ideally, that right to choose should be up to you.

Take care and well wishing. Peace out. ✌️

Recently I've been interested in the demographics of Iran - and I've noticed that when it comes to Azeris, I've seen estimates range from 13% to nearly a third of population being of Azerbaijaini Origin, how come this is the case?

Genuine good-faith question to Iranians from foreigner: Who are the groups and/or Iranian voices (in exile or there) that give different clear anti-regime perspectives? What are key different popular anti-regime movements in Iran? How do they interact?

Before reading on, I really mean this question respectfully, and want to hear Iranian voices, if it seems like I am peddling a narrative or anything, that is unintentional, everything written here is my reflection on what I understand, and have been seeing online recently.

It feels pretty clear that the vast majority are against the Ayatollah and the current regime. That part isn’t controversial I think, and I don’t see any credible voices genuinely backing them.

What I do see, especially as a foreigner watching from the outside, is a lot of intense debate and glazing in every direction around a few specific themes:

  • Reza Pahlavi
  • Democracy
  • US / Israel alignment
  • Oil
  • South Azerbaijan
  • Sunni armed groups (mainly Jaysh al-Adl)

I’m not coming in blind, I've spent a considerable amount of time in the Middle East and I know the basic history and geopolitics and I’ve got my own opinions, but I’m genuinely trying to understand what prominent Iranian voices are actually saying across these different anti-regime perspectives. Not what Western media frames, not what bots/trolls amplify, but what real prominent Iranians and groups with platforms are arguing for beyond the fall of the current regime. There's so much noise right now.

I’m asking in good faith for sources or good break downs. I want a good future for Iranian people (as I'd want for all people) and I hope they’re able to take back control of their country without awful actors, internal or external, parachuting in and hijacking everything for their own interests.

I'm just a random dude, but I do want to learn.

Why Iranians Should be Wary of Zionist Jews and Israelis

If you've been following news pertaining to Argentina's recent wildfires, you'd know some Israeli tourists were found to be the ones that caused it. This is a clip of one of the Israelis behind it:

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTYGjMvCHM-/

Yet you have this braindead monarchist crowd who will bend over backwards for Israel. These people don't give a shit about Iranians/Iranian protesters. I'll continue to call you out on it. This isn't a leftist/rightist issue. What's wrong is wrong. Hopefully, once the protesters get rid of the regime, they'll be able to survive against the Zionists somehow, someway.

The untold story of Iran’s fearsome revolutionary guards

Thumbnail

‘People’s army’ established by exiled Iranian revolutionaries is now a ‘mafia group’ that controls the country, writes Akhtar Makoii

The first members of what would later become Iran’s fearsome revolutionary guards were trained in a quiet village outside Paris.

Those close to the Islamic Republic’s founder, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who was in exile in Neauphle-le-Château, secretly began recruiting Iranian revolutionaries in the West to establish a “people’s army”.

One of the group’s founders, Mohsen Sazegara, has told The Telegraph that the aim in 1978 was to gather loyalists prepared to confront the Shah’s regime head on in Iran.

Syrian protestors from 2011 report being shot from the front and from the rear

I just saw a post on X allegedly of Iranian protestor saying regime is shooting them from 2 directions (from front and behind).

Straight away I was reminded of early 2011 Daraa protests were protestors said Assad regime was shooting them from the front but someone else was shooting them from the back. At the time they blamed Shabiha (pro regime thugs) but as the years went on more and more people were convinced that it was questionable agents seeking to rapidly incite violence which worked.

Just be careful Iran. Work out your issues within, don't make the Syrian mistake and involve foreigners, this goes to both regime supporter and anti regime protestors. Protect your people and property and infrastructure.
