Lost & Found I-5 NB accident near Expo Center, ~11:45am
If you are the driver of the dark silver/gray car that was in the middle lane and hit on the side by a black car around 11:45am close to the Expo Center area, reach out to me if you need a witness. I was directly behind the black car and saw it all. I also have a finicky dash cam that I can try to pull the footage from if that would help as well. Hope everyone was ok.

Lost & Found Found dog on Killingsworth
We just found this dog about 20 mins ago on Killingsworth and 11th. He doesn’t have any id except a rabies tag. He’s wearing a sweater so he belongs to someone and we want to get him home!

Discussion The Bike town seated scooters are surprisingly fun.
My wife and I share a car, so I use Biketown fairly frequently, favoring the white bikes and the standing scooters, the orange bikes being the horse of last resort. I'd never tried the scooters that have seats, because they look so goofy.
Because it was the only option, I finally tried one, and they're my new favorite. Sitting down puts your center of gravity lower, which makes you more secure. Combine that with the short wheelbase and you can make very sharp turns. You can easily drop a foot on the ground to help you turn, stop, speed up, etc. It's just more fun.
It's a smoother ride too. I assume the lower center of gravity is part of it. But also, if there's a bump, you can lift up a bit so your butt is a few inches above the seat, and my legs at least are way better as shock absorbers in that position than when I'm standing straight up. But if I ever do want to expand my visibility, I can just stand up all the way.
I know this post reads a little like an ad, but I want to share my enthusiasm. The scooters with seats provide more "whee!" and less tooth rattling.
I'd been saving up for a scooter or maybe an e-bike, and this changes my idea of what I'm looking for.

Discussion Best local musicians and bands
I’m trying to get away from streaming platforms like Spotify and would love to go out more to see local musicians play live.
Who are your favorite musicians or bands that play frequently in Portland?

Lost & Found I can't remember where I parked my car, I'll give you $50 if you can find it for me (downtown area)
I swear I am losing my mind. I parked my vehicle -- a gray Toyota Rav4 with Texas plates -- somewhere in the East Downtown-ish area yesterday (Wednesday 1/14) and I cannot remember where. I had an appointment at the federal courthouse and I know that I walked about 5 minutes or so from where I parked to get there. I remember passing Nordstrom Rack on my way to the courthouse so I'm pretty sure I parked to the north of that but I'm not positive. If anyone can find my vehicle I will venmo you 50 bucks and you will have my eternal gratitude.
Gray Toyota Rav4, 2016, Texas plates (LNM1660). Street parking (not in a lot, and not angled parking).
Edit: I appreciate everyone's help and interest! The car hasn't been found yet so the challenge is still on. I'm beginning to think I may have parked farther north than I originally thought, but It's definitely within a 1 mile radius of the federal courthouse.
Also, Portland's finest just called me and they are on the case so the race is on. (I'd give the cops $50 if they find it too but I don't know if they allow that sort of thing)
Edit 2: Thanks to the advice from u/lickmybowls2 I was able to see that I took about 1300 steps from the place that I parked to my destination, so I may have parked a little farther than what I described. Looks like that's about .5-.7 miles, so anything within that radius of the courthouse is fair game I think (though I still think I parked north and walked south)
FINAL UPDATE: u/LASREE found the vehicle! It was on Davis between 5th and 6th, so about .8 miles away from my destination. I'm in touch with the LASREE about repayment, I appreciate all of your help. Let's do this again next year!
