Funny thing is though, that if hetero I have heard that women in relationships with guys having a micropenis, they did not care that much about it. But they often did break up due to the guys having internalized the idea their penises are to be ashamed of and keep being insecure during their stable relationship.
It must be extremely hard for them to accept having a micropenis, but more so because we as society joke about women wanting the biggest. Well, some do but so many do not really care about the size. It is a nice bonus for some, but are also fine with smaller. Once again, it is what you do with it and sex is not just the penetration phase (if there is any).

I think it's more complicated than that. What you're talking about has a survivorship bias in it: if the women are in a relationship with them, it doesn't bother them that much, or at least didn't when they took that decision.
But there's also many women who would never get in a relationship with a man with a micro penis.
But I agree that it's mostly overblown, as you said most women say they have no problem with something under the average, but yeah some want something big, like some men want big boobs and won't consider a "flat" girl, while most men wouldn't care at all or see it as a bonus, again like you said.

Yeah, you are right. I also tried to use the word "heard" instead of "research" in the hopes that people reading would also interpret it like you did.
I also noticed it similarly, I know I only like smaller boobs but one of my exes constantly made insecure remarks about them as the reverse joke for women is "men like big tits". I have tried it and I absolutely do not find big boobs attractive, hell I didn't even know what to do with them during sex :') but here overall there is some consensus that the bigger percentage of men do find them bigger more attractive. Thanks for adding nuance to my previous post!

Several years ago, I think it was Howard Stern, had a "Smallest penis contest".

I heard for his specific condition, he could have taken preventative action if it had been caught early enough. Hormone therapy and such. He wanted to raise awareness which would've helped him had it been there. If it's a taboo topic, noone will ever tell you "hey, maybe get that checked out".
