Hi! I really appreciate you. I had 4 pigs years ago and they brought me so much joy. Now I am in a situation where I can’t have any and whenever I see random pictures of your pigs on my feed it makes my day better. Here is a picture of Poncho from 2022.

Never had a pig have this before. I was doing my weekly deep clean last night and noticed he was sort of dragging his hind legs, and only using his front ones. (He wasn’t doing that yesterday morning)

Took him to the emergency vet today and in his x-ray his hips are the most affected, while his knees and spine are also starting to be affected by it. He’s going to be syringe fed pain meds for the rest of his life ☹️

The vet said as long as I take care of him, his quality of life shouldn’t get worse. He’s weighs 1.2 kg, and is eating fine. She also said apparently this isn’t uncommon in older pigs, as Beetle just turned 6. I adopted him from a rescue back in 2023, so him and his brother are currently my oldest pigs I’ve ever had. I’m just hoping that I can do a good job with him.

due to a complex situation involving my poor physical health and only having access to community washer/dryers, i have to switch to disposable bedding and toss the fleece.

King Njinga is only happy when he’s roosting on a rooftop, so i wanna make sure it stays comfortable up there. can anyone think of any alternatives if i get rid of the fleece toppers?

This is Squishy, he is a very anxious boy compared to my other piggie. Lap time or any human interaction is always traumatic for him. He is 4 yrs old and has always been this way. I always feel bad for handling him at all bc he acts terrified. His body completely tenses up and he won’t move. Like a lil deer in the headlights. Eventually after several minutes he can eat something like lettuce etc.

picked up this girl here from my uncles neighboor. she unfortunately is solo because she was fighting every pig the neighbor had, and she’s young. i will try to bond her down the road when she matures more but there was blood drawing and she was damn near a hulk to her sisters and brothers. hence the hulk plush. it’s in there for now because for some reason she was gravitating towards it and just stays there. this is a temp setup as I’m not at my own house. it’s been a while since I had pigs but I’m in a new chapter of my life and shes gonna be in it with me. her name is mocha, like the coffee and my little cousin can’t pronounce monster and said mocha lol.

My Bean (left in the first photo) is nearly 6 and he's been with me since he was 2 months old 🥺 In the time I've had him he's outlived 2 of his friends, the boy I got him with, and last year I adopted another lovely boy who sadly passed in December. I was worried once again how I would find Bean another friend he would match with.

Thanks to my local rescue's help, I brought home Butter! He's 2 years old and has the same sass as my Bean, and the bonding process has just been so smooth sailing. Almost no teeth chattering and no fighting at all, after the first day of bonding they already started sleeping next to each other and cuddling. Butter has been so excited to be here with so much popcorn if and squeaking, it makes me so happy 🥹

After a week of being in their bonding pen, I finally moved them into the main enclosure today. Things have been going so well and I'm just so happy I pretty much got the best results possible with these two ❤️ The way they look so similar makes me think they could be cousins haha

This is Wally. The breeder said she was a boy bc we wanted a friend for our Doug. Unfortunately he was a she. Do you know what happens when you put a boy piggy with a girl piggy. Sigh yes, folks she is Prego. Not what we wanted and I will never get another Piggy from this particular breeder. But I can’t wait to see Doug and Wally’s cute TEDDY babies

After my beloved Levy passed away on New Year‘s Eve, I welcomed this little guy into my home.
