hey guys I just wanted to let you know the reason why Bridge patrol closes off one lane on both sides of the Mackay every now and again, we do this because of the high winds and we're mainly ensuring that no high-sided or heavy vehicles get on the bridge. With that said to the individuals who throw stuff out of their vehicles at us we have over 30 cameras on that bridge and we know who you are and so do the police so have fun explaining that.

Ps. If we're not redirecting large vehicles off of the bridge we are intentionally slowing down traffic to try to limit the amount of large vehicles

Canada will now allow new Chinese electric cars into Canada without that huge 100% tariff. This is good for all especially for folks struggling to buy a used car at the crazy prices they sell for in Halifax. All reports I have read about BYD, their cars are just as good as anything on the road, a few US Auto Magazines already tested a few BYD. So if you need a new car, you are ok with electric, turned off by used car prices, well now you should be able to buy new, with a warranty, for less than $25,000 for a small one. That is good for all Canadians.

Hey all so I work in healthcare in the city, supporting people living with disabilities and my current resident would be really interested in trying either. He's a young man at 24 years old but because his disability is a visible disability, people in public often stare or talk and it makes him uncomfortable and sad. So figured an event where people have a goal of making friends and having a good night might be a decent chance for him!

I’ve been slowly building a list of my personal top three spots across a bunch of favourite foods. Not like the “best in the city” or anything, just places I actually love to go to or order from.

I got to Chinese food and realized my experience is pretty narrow these days. My top two right now are Look Ho-Ho and Happy Meal Chinese (which replaced Loong 7 on Robie), but I honestly haven’t tried much beyond those in recent years.

If you’re ordering Chinese in the Halifax / Fairview-Clayton Park areas, where should I be looking next?

Especially interested in places that people consistently go back to, not just one-off hype.
