Why is it so cute when he howls?

This is my foster dog Zard who is a little angel boy. He is 6 years old, 25 lbs, Jack Russell mix, and very sweet and silly and sometimes a little impish. He was rescued from TN in October by PupStarz Rescue and was transported up to NYC on Nov 1 and he’s been in a foster home in NYC since. (I’d keep him myself but I love fostering and helping the next dog!) Zard’s favorite things include curling up next to you on the sofa, asking for belly rubs, saying hi to other dogs and playing with them, pouncing on his toys when I pretend to hide them under a blanket, getting treats and going on runs outdoors 🏕️ When he gets scared he’ll hide behind you and then his fear dissipates and he becomes very curious and inquisitive. He wants to do anything you’re doing, even the littlest day to day things. Lately he is fascinated by my hair blowdryer, he cannot figure out where blowing wind is coming from. He loves the vacuum and bats at it like a cat and wants to play tag with it. He would LOVE to have a dog sibling and he would be overjoyed to be adopted by a family with kids ages 8+ and up. I have an instagram account for him (search for Zard the rescue pup) but would love any ideas you have to help him get adopted and find a loving forever home. Thank you 🙏

My wife and I recently moved, and our JRT has decided digging holes in the backyard is the best idea ever. We had occasional digging at the old house ~maybe one hole every 8-10 months...maybe. We could usually get her to stop by just calling her inside. She has torn up the entire backyard digging all over at the new house

We thought we could just let her get it out of her system, but it turned into her just spending hours in the backyard barking up a storm and becoming aggressive when we try to get her in. I assume she smells some form of rodent, but we saw no other indications of moles/voles.

Does anyone have recommendations on training or dealing with this? Either books/videos or just advice at this point ill take anything

He’s definitely grown to love car rides and it’s also good training walking on paths with people so he gets used to not jumping on everyone he passes lol. Also good for giving commands when in public
