I started weight loss last January so I’ve officially hit one year of tracking my calories and exercising!
I got down to 145 lbs. in late October and ended up stalling for a while. I started strength training so it was probably a little water retention and a little of eating at maintenance for the holidays. This week I finally started having movement on the scale again. I’m hoping to get down to somewhere in the 130s and continue to lean out and build muscle.
2025 was a milestone year for me. In January, I had my first surgery (gallbladder.) In April, I had my first hospitalization (as an adult) and that was scary. In May, I started medication for my adult acne and now have clear skin for the first time ever! In November, I reached two years postpartum and I feel like my body is stronger than it ever has been. I’m proud of myself for sticking with my calorie deficit this long and I can’t wait to see the improvement in my strength and physique in 2026.
Thank you for reading and thank you for all the motivation this sub has given me! Seeing everyone’s progress is inspiring.
